I can’t begin to express how grateful I am to have found this preschool and all the amazing opportunities it offers. My oldest son attended for a year and a half, and it was a wonderful experience that truly prepared him for kindergarten. He absolutely loved coming to school each day for the hands-on, play-based learning and the chance to explore something new every day. One highlight was the “extended day” program offered once a week starting in January for children heading to kindergarten that fall. I was initially nervous about how he’d handle the longer day, but he completely loved it and looked forward to it every week. I also love that this preschool is a co-op, which allowed me to volunteer in the classroom and see firsthand how well my son was learning, socializing, and thriving. The teachers are a huge reason the children enjoy school so much—they’re caring, attentive, and incredibly supportive of every family. My second child just finished his first year here, and even though it’s summer, he still asks to go back! We’ll definitely be sending our daughter here as soon as she’s old enough.

Hands down the best preschool in the area! We sent all of our children here and even stayed at the preschool after moving further away. The teachers are knowledgeable and attentive to the needs of each individual student. The multi-age classroom offers such different social challenges to the children and allows for them to mature and learn from each other in a different way than a single age room. The play-based nature of this school offers wonderful ways for the children to grow and learn in a self-directed way. I loved being able to be in the classroom with my children and observe for myself how they are doing. The cooperative nature of this school allows for as much parent involvement as you would like! There is no pressure from the teachers to have your child potty-trained! There are no better preschool teachers! These two teachers make the best team and will support you as a parent beyond your expectations. Your child will ask to go spend time at school because these teachers are the best!

My daughter happily attended Novi Co-op Preschool for three years, beginning in the parent/tot class. There are many things that make the school special, beginning with the teachers. Mrs. C. and Mrs. Smith are engaging and interact warmly with the children. They are very knowledgeable with regard to child development, and the play-based curriculum is thoughtfully implemented. As a school, Novi Co-op is family-oriented and works hard to create a nurturing and supportive atmosphere. It’s a little school with a big heart, and I believe my daughter is not only academically prepared for kindergarten, but she has developed into a creative thinker who loves learning.

Novi Cooperative Preschool is an excellent introduction to school. The teachers here provide a loving environment while building the foundations of learning. Research shows that learning through play is the most effective way to learn. Our play based program teaches children the acedemic and social skills needed to be successful. Novi Coop is offers parents the opportunity to work in the classroom, but is able to work with parents to meet the demands of their schedule. I have had all three of kids go through this program. We couldn’t be happier!

My daughter is about to finish her third year at the Co-Op. We started with the parent/tot class and fell in love. I have nothing but praise for the teachers and the program. I love how involved I am with my child and the school. I feel like I really know all her classmates, the other parents and especially the teachers. That's the big difference with a Co-Op. You don't just drop your child at the door everyday then leave. You have a real involvement and you have the option to stay and chat with other parents, schedule after school playdates, discuss parenting struggles and triumphs, etc. Not only has my daughter received an excellent academic start, we have both made wonderful friends. She has learned so much there without even realizing she's learning cause they make everything so fun.
