I have faced serious issues with New River Elementary regarding my daughter’s bullying and the retaliation I’ve experienced from the principal my Daughters disability just made those whole process that much more difficult and to add to the insult The district employees I’ve spoken with have been dismissive, offering fake supportive responses while ultimately doing nothing to address the problem. This district seems to prioritize protecting its employees over holding them accountable, fostering ongoing abuse. They appear to see the children in their schools as mere numbers rather than human beings. When something goes wrong, their system is designed to deflect responsibility. Parents are transferred endlessly from one person to another, creating a cycle of frustration. Even when evidence is presented, it is dismissed, and no real action is taken. I hope the new president of the school board will bring much-needed change because this corruption must stop. Taxpayers fund these schools with the expectation of professional and respectful service, not systematic mistreatment from individuals who come into our community and treat parents and children poorly. This is completely unacceptable.
