We have been so happy with our kiddo attending Cadence Academy at the Oviatt location in Norwalk, Iowa. Our oldest son is entering second grade this year and we needed a good summer care option for him. We had been to other centers previously and the lack of structure/chaos of multiple age groups in one place at these other centers overwhelmed our son and led to some anxiety. While Cadence does have all age groups present still, we feel that there is noticeably better structure and an overall better environment than other centers we’ve been to. Our son has spoken highly about how much he’s enjoyed attending the program and has not had the same anxiety issues he’s had at other locations. The staff are always incredibly nice and personable. They always greet us and send us on our way each day with the most sincere and polite interactions. We are so glad we made the switch to Cadence Academy!
We are so thankful for Cadence Academy! Our son loves attending and has the best time, the staff are always friendly, helpful and attentive and they are often engaged and hands on with the kids! I love all the activities provided and the variety of guests that come to share their expertise and talents with the kids. Ms Teresa and her team have been a huge blessing for us since we started this program in April!
We LOVE our care at Cadence! The staff is always energetic, positive and AMAZING with the kids. They do a variety of guided group crafts and teach them how to play games with peers. They are also extremely attentive at drop off and pick up--safety is definitely a top priority. We honestly could not ask for a better program for our kids! If you are looking for care, we HIGHLY recommend Cadence!
Cadence Academy has been an absolutely amazing experience for both my daughter and myself! We started with their summer camp program with the intention of utilizing the after school program when she entered kindergarten - we plan to keep her in the program as long as we can, as we couldn’t be happier with it! They have outstanding organization, activities and staff working with the kids. As a parent, safety is my number one priority, and Teresa and her staff have great safety protocols in place that I get to witness daily when I pick my daughter up. I highly recommend Cadence to anyone searching for childcare during the summer, and before/after school care!
My son suffers from social anxiety due to a change in my work hours we needed the services of Cadence Academy, we were so nervous BUT he absolutely loves it! The staff is amazing. They definitely care about the kids. We have noticed such a change in my son. So not only do I get the reassurance of my son being taken care of in a safe, clean and fun environment I get the benefits of him being more comfortable in a more social setting while he is learning and having fun! Miss Theresa and staff are doing an amazing job!
