North Education Center receives mixed reviews with an average rating of 3.5/5. Most reviewers praise the caring and dedicated staff, safe environment, and structured yet fun approach. However, some concerns are raised about discipline practices and facility conditions.
Terrible place to send your child to school if you don’t want them locking your kids in a room with no windows for hours at a time for simply having a rough day. I’d strongly suggest looking for any other school and the assistant principal won’t listen to what anyone has to say for the life of her.
This is a funny safe environment and kind people and neighborhood and my kid and I love this school because of the teachers are helpful and care about my kid.
They took me in when nobody else did, they allowed me to graduate and have a fair shot at life even when I nearly messed up my entire education. I am glad that I was transferred here from my home district, even though I was not the most productive student. I would only be at this school for a couple hours a day, but they gave me the support that I needed to stay on the right path in life. I am grateful and glad for everything they did for me.
Leadership is basically non-existent, higher ups come and go almost like they were never there at all in the first place, the turnover of staff is that of McDonalds, most of them never staying past 1 or 2 years then leaving to find better jobs, or they get transferred to other buildings. The building is almost never quiet or calm, there's always something going on and always someone having a tantrum or another fight in the ALC wing, yes it's beyond bad. Glad I jumped ship (or escaped captivity) when I did.
I go to school here, the teachers are dedicated and polite. They do everything they can to help and to get you to graduation! The downstairs is even better for the little ones, never seen a frown, things are structured but fun.
