North Creek Child Development Center

This is the worst daycare I have ever dealt with as a parent. Run in the opposite direction. Both Chantel (the director) and Lacey (the manager) appear to prioritize financial gain over the well-being of the children and their families. I have seen sick staff called in because they were over ratio, putting kids and staff at risk. This daycare is never truly clean. There’s peeling paint, dirt in every corner, cracks in the glass, and rocks scattered in the toddler play area that could easily be a choking hazard. The “gym” and preschool rooms are just as dirty. The playground is right next to a rundown hotel, and cigarette smoke drifts over the play area while kids are outside. Chantel yells at kids and staff on a regular basis. Lacey tells parents what they want to hear, but then does the opposite and tries to bill for anything she can. The only positive thing is that there are some excellent staff members here, but they are overshadowed by poor management. Until that changes, I don’t see how this daycare can improve. I honestly don’t understand how it achieved a Step Up to Quality 2 rating with this building and this leadership.

I can't tell if this is a professional business or not, but I've been recently letting my kids go here for about a couple months, but by the times I would to grab them by the end of the day, I would hear my kids say they were given rotten / expired milk or just not nutritional meals, I have contacted the director before and in emails she seemed like she was Inconsistent for the program meaning misspellings or not enough information about the well being of my children, in saying so I don't want this to be on just a bad spotlight for this daycare.. I have accommodated this agency and have went through insurance processes to provide this daycare enough services for my children whilst they were WILLING to have split payments for the enrollment fee to be applicable. Payment wise was good, but the services of being a daycare I cannot say its swell.

Our kids have been attending North Creek for about 1.5 years and I am extremely pleased with the caring staff, the curriculum, the food and administration. They offer an app with written updates, photos and videos every day! Our previously child care center left a lot to be desired and my kids protested being dropped off — now they love going to North Creek because thy are engaged, busy, active and making friends.

My daughter goes to preschool here and she loves her teacher and all the fun activities they do during the day. She has come home singing new songs and telling me all about the numbers and letters she has learned. My older daughter is doing the summer school age program and she has loves the daily field trips and the fun morning activities. I have been very happy with all the teachers!

My child was grabbed so hard she was left with a bruise and then still continued to keep the teacher there even after I filed a complaint. When my daughter was just a baby, she came home with another bruise and the story was inconsistent. Switched to superior their sister daycare and it wasn’t any better. My daughter hated it. Her attitude changed completely when I finally left this company for good (updated this review with more detail but my experience was around 2016-2019)
