Noah'S Ark Children'S Center

This was once an awesome family friendly daycare when we started in 2019 that truly served the community. Since then there has been a change in administration and it is no longer a family friendly environment it is now a daycare facility that puts their bottom line ahead of everything else. The teachers were/are AMAZING, they are not the problem, my son blossomed and learned so much. He formed bonds with both teachers and children in his classes and was excited to go to "school" each day. But the administration leaves a lot to be desired, I caution parents on three things. First, not all families are extended the same opportunities. New siblings of current students don't always take priority for the coveted infant room spots. When I informed them I was expecting at 6 weeks along (my son had been there for 2 years at that point), I was told immediately, there would be no space for the baby for 2 years. After a conversation with the director I learned why there was no spot for our new baby, it was because 2 different families came to her directly and offered to pay more than the waitlist fee to hold spots for their new babies and she allowed it. Those families had older children that were not currently enrolled and both had actually left during Covid but now wanted to return. So unless you are in the "know" that is even a thing (which I was not), you may be out of luck for younger siblings. Secondly, they now do a "lottery" for their pre-k classroom and regardless of how long your child has been enrolled he/she may not get a spot. You won't find out until February so be sure to have a back up plan just in case. At the same time they are opening more 2's and 3's classrooms, so spots will be very tight in the pre-k program. And lastly if you do end up in a position as we were (new baby no spots available) under no circumstances should you be open and honest with them that you are on waitlists for other facilities. Just give them a 2 week notice once you know for sure your family's situation and leave it at that.

We love Noah's Ark. Our children have been here since they were 2 years old. We love all of the teachers and appreciate the investment everyone makes in our children.
