Night And Day Care And Play

My children came from another child care chain in Amarillo. We left due to several issues, none of which we've experienced at Night and Day. When you walk in you'll notice no one is yelling. As a matter of fact every day they are doing something different; a new project or a new book. When we walk in the door my children are greeted and if my son is having issues staying at school that day the teachers always accommodate. Another thing you will notice is how great it smells. Honestly I have never been to a daycare that smells clean. My children are handfuls as are most other children and I cannot begin to explain to you the lengths the staff goes to to help. Even the way they say we had a bad day but we've talked about it and hopefully resolved the issue, speaks to me. My children are small but they are little people working through a multitude of issues and it comforts me to know that they have really kind and professional people to care for them throughout the day. The last thing I have to say is how impressed I am by the staff and owner. My children constantly tell me about all the exciting things they've done and how much fun they've had. But honestly what won me over is how much the owner is involved. You know typically they just run a business. I love it when I get stopped in the hall by the owner and she tells me about my child's day. I have to say that impresses me. She cares enough to go to the classrooms and be involved in my child's day. So overall I am impressed with the entire facility and I would absolutely recommend bringing your children here.

My four blessings have attended daycare here now for almost two years! Before this my nieces I had placed with my through cps attended while in my care for over a year! I’ve had 6 children attend this daycare. They are absolutely the best I don’t care what anyone says. I have been through so much since we started with them and let me tell you they are not working for just a pay check! Christi, Chris, Miss V, Shannon, Q, Zach and all the rest of my babies teachers up to the lady that makes the lunch they are all amazing souls! Thank you for watching over my babies. Dropping them at school and picking them up! You are my eyes and ears when I can’t be with them! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!! You guys take it from me you’re children will be great here! NEVER BRING YOUR KIDS HERE! Sure, everyone has different experiences but there is NO reason my child should have been coming home with an accident report and abrasions every other day. There was even a few times where they didn’t report to me when he got hurt. And yall need to be WATCHING the kids during outside time, how did my child happen to get out of the gate and almost make it to the street? Shame. And these are just a FEW of the pictures from the daycare.

Owners are very caring about the children. The worst thing is that they are such nice people, they do sometimes hire some pretty horrible people sometimes. They do everything they can to give people a fair chance, but it sometimes bites them in the butt. It is one of the better day cares in Amarillo, and they really do care about their kids, and their clients. Over-all they are good people with honest intentions. I do recommend this place.

First i want to say giving 5 stars is very hard for me to do. I am giving this daycare 5 stars because of several reasons. We first started off at Hagy Learning Center but because the owners lost the lease to that location, it closed and combined with Night and Day. The best employees who had time and love invested into the kids transferred over to Night and Day as well. There are several employees there that are amazing but I want to single out a couple ladies, Ms. Tammie, Ms. V & Ms. Haley. Ms. Tammie was the director of the Hagy location and when I drop my kids off- I know for a fact they will be taken care of because of her. I trust her with my kids and I know she will do anything for them. If they need to be held and loved on- she will do it or if they need discipline- she will do it. Ms. V is an amazing teacher. She was taught my 4 year old daughter sooooo much. Ms. V is also amazing at running her class room with order and respect- its awesome. Ms. Haley was my 2 year old son's teacher for awhile and he would tell me everyday going home, "Ms. Haley is my bestfriend" She was very kind and attentive to the little kids. Great place for your kids to go to daycare. they will always do their best for your kids.
