We absolutely love NLC. As a first-time mom, I felt so supported from the very beginning. The teachers are amazing and truly treat my daughter like their own, which gives me so much peace of mind. She started at the age of 1, and they’ve been incredible through all her transitions, including dropping the bottle & binky. The staff is always kind and welcoming, and the facility is clean and cute. The teachers are always coordinating learning activities and crafts and she absolutely loves it (base on the huge smile in every picture I get!) The team is flexible with changing schedules and illness. Most importantly, my daughter runs into school every morning and that says it all.

My little one started with NLC at 15 months- outside of family she had only been cared for by her nanny and I was quite nervous to try out daycare. We started with one day per week during the summer and my girl love it from day one! In the fall we picked up 3 days and have been super happy with the experience! My girl has learned and grown so much since she started and I love to see her in a learning environment like NLC. I particularly love that the owner, Cara, is present and highly involved every day- with her own toddler son being in my daughter’s class. She’s quite invested in the day to day and continuously adding new items and incorporating new activities.

Newton Learning Center has been absolutely wonderful for our family. Our daughter started in the Toddler program almost a year ago—her first time being cared for by someone outside our family. She needed a little time to adjust, but she quickly formed strong bonds with her teachers and soon became excited to go to school each day. This fall, she transitioned into the preschool room, and the growth we’ve seen has been incredible. Her fine motor skills, social skills, and interests have all blossomed. The teachers have also provided wonderful support with potty training—patient, encouraging, and consistent—and it made a huge difference in helping her succeed and feel confident. We love the enrichment activities as well, especially the weekly gymnastics class. She looks forward to it every week and proudly shows us what she’s learned when she comes home. Cara Silva has done an amazing job creating a nurturing, positive, and supportive environment at Newton Learning Center. We feel so fortunate to have such a great childcare option right in our hometown. We plan to keep our daughter in the program through kindergarten and are truly grateful for the kindness, compassion, and care from every teacher and aide.

As a first-time mom, sending my baby to daycare was honestly one of the most stressful decisions I’ve had to make—and I can confidently say that Newton Learning Center has exceeded every expectation. From the initial phone conversation to dropping her off on her first day, Cara and my daughter’s teachers made me feel supported, informed, and completely at ease. It’s very clear that the wellbeing of the kids in their care is the top priority at NLC. My daughter is in the infant room with Ms. Kim and Ms. Rachel, and they send me consistent updates and pictures throughout the day to let me know how she’s doing. Not to mention, each morning when I drop her off, she’s all smiles and giggles! It’s obvious she loves her days there. I couldn’t recommend Newton Learning Center more highly, and I feel lucky that my daughter gets to learn and grow with them over the next few years!

Cara, the new owner, is wonderful, attentive, flexible, and a good communicator. NLC goes the extra mile to make my toddler feel welcome and loved. The teachers are kind and skilled. They’ve got great hours and are fairly priced.
