My son loves the infant room! It makes me so happy that i’m able to drop him off at a daycare I trust. The teachers have been so amazing and are teaching him lots! I love that i’m able to connect with the teachers and receive pictures via the ProCare app!

Our children enjoy coming to this center and we feel the staff does an excellent job caring for the kids. The teachers take the time to get to know the children well and are able to respond to their needs appropriately and most of all make them feel comfortable and excited to come in. As parents we do enjoy the frequent updates via the app. All of the teachers and aides are dedicated and kind. We also frequently get feedback at drop off and pickup. The director, Christine, is quick to respond to any and all questions via email and has been very supportive.

Our little one has been going to New Horizon for almost at year now and we are in love. The teachers are fantastic and the director is awesome. I know when I drop my kiddo off she is getting the best care and is so loved. They are responsive to any questions or feedback and have truly made us feel comfortable knowing that our peanut is in good hands. I suggest this place to everyone!

As a mom to a special needs child, I was very concerned about how my daughter would be treated in a preschool and daycare setting. I have been SO very impressed with how Sam and her staff have cared for both my children and have stretched and encouraged my special needs child to become more independent and to explore her own interests. They have been creative and patient with a non-verbal child and continue to learn and develop together. Many teachers chose, on their own, to take ASL classes so they can communicate more with our daughter. All the staff have been wonderful and, now that they are older, my girls love coming after school and playing and exploring with their friends. We are looking forward to another summer of programs and outings with Jessie and friends. I highly recommend this location. Be prepared to consider the teachers a part of your family!

Our once wonderful experience at New Horizon Prairie Center has been tarnished, leaving us deeply disappointed and disheartened. Things took a turn for the worse when Christine assumed the role of director assistant. Despite coming on the recommendation of the previous director, Annette, the center’s direction veered off course under Christine’s leadership. One of the most concerning issues was the negligence towards complaints, particularly those regarding the 3-year-old teacher, Ms. Lupe. Despite repeated reports of physical discipline, nothing was done. This lack of action fostered an environment of fear and unease among both children and parents. Additionally, the absence of age-appropriate activities for the 3-year-old class was alarming. Despite multiple complaints, promises for improvement were unfulfilled, leaving children without the stimulation they deserve. Furthermore, the lack of empathy and care from certain staff members, including the assistant director, was evident. There seemed to be a bias towards certain children, especially when it came to staffing shortages. Overall, our once wonderful experience has been overshadowed by disappointment and frustration. We had hoped for a nurturing environment where our children could thrive, but instead, we have been left questioning the integrity of the center’s leadership and the quality of care provided. Nearly two-year experience at New Horizon Prairie Center has been disappointing. I had initially chosen this center based on the glowing recommendation of the former director and staff, but unfortunately, the quality of care and attention to children’s well-being has significantly declined. Finally I wanted to acknowledge the exceptional care provided by certain staff members is crucial amidst the disappointment we've faced. I'd like to extend heartfelt thanks to Ms. Nilam, Ms. Jessy, Ms. Tufah, Ms. Catherine, and Ms. Melissa for their unwavering dedication and nurturing support for my infant, pre-K child, and toddler during the earlier stages of their time at this center. Their compassion and professionalism have not gone unnoticed, and they have played a significant role in shaping our positive experiences amidst the challenges we've encountered.
