What Parents Say
New Beeginnings receives highly polarized reviews. The majority of parents (7 five-star reviews) praise the caring staff, educational curriculum, and happy children. However, negative experiences (2 one-star and 1 two-star review) cite poor communication, unexplained injuries, strict/inflexible policies, high staff turnover, and concerns about the owner's interactions with parents.
My daughter attended this learning center for over a year , for the most part we really enjoyed Madison and was really sad to see Kelsey go they really care and are extremely nurturing to the children I see them interact with. My two star rating comes from my child developing a long scratch on her face that no one could explain how it got there. Parents were not notified . nobody seen the scratch that is clearly visible on of her face . When I received a call from the director all I got was she sorry she doesn’t have an answer for me . And explained the high turn over rate on workers for learning . No teacher in that class currently even tryed to reach out in explain. I work with children so I treat other children the way I expect mine to be treated as such an any program
My son went here for about a year and a half, Madison and Louis were wonderful and nurturing to the children. They supply meals which is nice and my son seemed to enjoy them. Unfortunately the one star comes from some of their policies and every interaction I had with the owner. Every single time I would see her I would cringe at what I knew was coming “it’s none of my business but”. From being told i need to get him tested because she thought he was autistic, (this came up many times even after being told the doctors said he’s fine). To he needs braces for his legs (TEIS said he’s fine) was told we were wrong and that he needs braces. She said she didn’t believe he could go up a class because no other teacher could handle him, Madison “put up”with his clinginess. What was crazy is her pulling me aside and telling me not to bring my son the following day because they have a state inspection. That happened 3x, not even 24 hours notice. In all the time I was late once, 15 mins, had to explain myself and beg them to take him. They do have an 8:28am cut off for drop off, if it became a pattern I would understand but late once does not equal treating someone like a child. You are not welcome past the lobby, you will likely never see the classrooms outside of your tour when you sign up. They changed their hours with 30 days notice and started closing at 5 for work life balance. Sucks if you work till 5. I spoke with other parents who felt mostly the same. I recommended this place to my chiropractor and they returned her baby with bleach all over her clothes one day. It takes several months to get into a new daycare, please don’t get stuck here.
I am suuuuuper happy with the level of care this facility and teachers have given BOTH of my children. I have a 6 year old that attended there since 2 months as well as a 1 yr old that has been there also since 3months old. BOTH of my children are always cared for and even LOVED! the staff has always been caring and very professional! I had some behavioral issues with my oldest as a toddler but the daycare handled it very professionally and even went out of their way to help correct those behaviors with my child! My children are always super happy to go. I have nothing but GREAT things to say about this facility and the teachers! The owner CARES about her daycare and the children and families that attend!
I debated making a review for a while now BUT i know there are other parents that look for reviews before enrolling their children. My child was at this daycare from 6 weeks old until almost age 2. From the time we started they rotated through staff constantly. The infant teachers that were there when we left (Oct 2024) are great! We love ms Louis. However, My daughter got moved to the toddler room without my knowledge (obviously it would happen regardless BUT communication would be nice.) Ms. Madison is great but I never knew who else was in that classroom. My overall issue with this daycare is the major lack in communication. They do not make accommodations for milk allergies. Per owner Pacifiers are also not allowed at this daycare. The owner tired to give me the wrong kid twice. Very poor communication at this daycare. They are also closed very often for staff meetings (understandable but could be an inconvenience). The final straw for us was when they suspended my 1 year old for biting another child. I was informed my daughter “is a safety hazard to other kids” which was a shock to us because we were never informed of her having behavior issues in the past (again, poor communication). Toddlers go through developmental stages and you would hope the daycare you enroll your child in has the knowledge to understand that. I then asked for documentation of this incident and the owner was confused on what documentation i was asking for (she had forgotten she suspended my 1 year old for 3 days). Still to this day never received documentation of this incident. Overall, this daycare is ran very poorly , the only interactions I had with the owner was when there was issues - never positive communication with her. Poor communication all around. they do use an app to update you on your child throughout the day BUT they hardly ever update it.
My children have been attending here for 3 years and I couldn't be happier! They have been so good to my babies and they both just light up when they see their teachers each morning. Alot of daycares are just all play with minimal instruction. But, my daughter was taught all of her letters, colors, numbers, basic writing, etc and was very well prepared to begin Kindergarten.
