What Parents Say
Tracy's Learning Center receives highly polarized reviews. Five parents praise the caring staff, strong curriculum, and child development outcomes, while two parents report serious concerns including inadequate behavioral support, poor hygiene practices, discriminatory treatment, and financial inconsistencies.
I cannot say enough how wonderful Tracy's Learning Center has been for my children. My children started Tracy's in August 2013 and we just left Tracy's August 2017 only due to moving to Oak Ridge and our children are now attending Oak Ridge schools. My son just turned one and my daughter was 4 at the time. Everyday I knew I could drop my children off with no worries and knew 150% they were in good hands. Tracy's Learning Center is like family all I can say is I miss there smiling faces greeting us every morning. From the very first day I felt relieved and new I could go to work and have no worries. Ms.Tracy was always understanding and always accommodating to unexpected situations. Thank you Ms.Tracy and staff we love you and miss you all very much.
All 3 of our grandchildren were blessed to be able to attend Tracy’s Learning Center. They absolutely loved it, and so did we! From the caring staff, to the top-notch curriculum, to the fun activities planned for the children, we could not have asked for a better school for our grands to attend.
Thank you Ms. Tracy and teachers for always working with my little one, you all do an amazing job! Everyone is so patient and loving to my child and I appreciate that so much. My child learns something new everyday and wants to learn more. Thank you Tracy's Learning Center for being a great place for my child to learn and grow!
BEST DAYCARE! My oldest started at Tracys at 2 and still goes to the summer program every summer. When she started kindergarten she was ahead of her class and I have to give Tracys credit for that! My youngest is 2 and loves her teachers. She calls them her best friends. Hands down a great center. They CARE about the kids.
I would not recommend Tracy’s to anyone. In my opinion it’s an expensive and glorified babysitter masked as a “learning center”. Our son went here from the time that he was 6 weeks, until a little after 3 years old. Even after all this time and money paid to them, we were given a 1-day notice that we needed to find a new daycare due to “behavioral issues” from our 3-year-old. We were called 2 – 3 times a week, because of our son’s behavior, to remove him and take him home. Some days it was not even an hour after we dropped him off that we were getting a call to come pick him up because he was “throwing art supplies”, or “talking back to the teacher”. Yet, when I dropped him off the daycare provider would be yelling at the kids in the room and seemed very frustrated. Mind you this is at 8:15 am, I could only imagine her attitude a few hours into the workday. Tracy and her assistant both continuously told us how our son was showing signs of ADHD or a sensory disorder and essentially, he needed to be medicated to be in school. When speaking with other daycare facilities and parents with children in daycare they are all appalled at the way our son was treated at Tracy’s. And of course, what 3-year-old wouldn’t act out knowing they get to go home and leave the hostile environment in a daycare where they are obviously not wanted? Being kicked out of Tracy’s is honestly the best thing to ever happen to our son, because it’s not even been a week and he is thriving in his new school. I would not recommend any parent sending their child to this, so called learning center, the name is highly exaggerated. List of other issues that we experienced: 1. Child coming home with fecal matter in his underwear (was told that he should know how to wipe his own bottom at 3 years old) 2. Not provide hot meals for breakfast or lunch was told that we needed to bring food in a container that kept food hot. Do they not own a microwave? 3. afraid to go to daycare in the mornings 4. Child tells you that the teachers where mean and would raise their voice.
