This daycare has been around for over 20 years, and now is owned by the YMCA in a recent change. Thus, it seems that google is treating it as a new business. Sadly the only new reviews are written by people who don’t actually take their kids here, but instead live nearby and somehow seem surprised that living next to a daycare means hearing noisy kiddos. To clarify, the staff don’t leave the same kids outside for 5 hours, they rotate which classrooms are on the playground at a time. The facility is bigger than it seems, with a basement level full of classrooms, and I’m guessing a total of 50+ kids in the building at a time. They all take turns playing on the playground, so it may seem like they are outside all day long. I chose this daycare for my 4-month-old because I heard so many good things from other parents who took their kids here. When we first toured, the manager remembered the names of my friend’s kids, even though they moved away 3 years ago. Most of the teachers have been working there over 5/10/15 years, which is a testament to how they are treated and their job satisfaction. The teachers are so attentive and sweet, I joke with the other moms about how they take care of me just as much as they take care of my baby. They communicate super fast, I get updates all the time, and they really know my baby. They do art projects and have curriculums, and take little field trips outside, even with the tiny ones. Every time I go in, the babies are rolling/crawling around playing and happy, they’re not just put in “containers” all day. (Or they are all sleeping in their cribs at the same time, no idea how they make that magic happen) It’s so nice that this daycare lets you attend/pay for 2-5 days per week, rather than just making everyone pay for 5 days per week even when you don’t need it. Long story short, this is a great daycare with great staff, and I’m happy to drop my kiddo off with them, knowing she is safe and loved.
Since the staff wants to ignore our calls, emails and us in person, I’ve come to the conclusion that a review is what will get someone’s attention. I have lived right next door to this daycare for YEARS. This past year has been the absolute WORST year to date. There is constant screaming, yelling and throwing of toys/equipment by the children to the point where my fan, television or music won’t drown them out. I’ve gone outside to see if the teachers were helping, and every time they are either gossiping or ignoring the children. No wonder why they’re so loud and obnoxious! Multicare DO BETTER. You say you want your neighbors happy? You have 3 VERY upset neighbors who can’t work from home because of the constant disruption. I cannot WAIT to move and never hear this daycare ever again. Until my lease is up, I will complain and complain until something comes of this. DO BETTER! Parents, I HIGHLY recommend not sending your children to this establishment.
