My daughter has been attending Cadence Academy (formerly the Nest) since she was 6 months old and we feel has always been well taken care of and the communication with us for the most has been excellent especially in the younger classes. Over the past year or so there have been changes and the teachers have done a great job making the best of it as things level out. All of the teachers my daughter has had have been great and Ms Lisa, the newest director, is extremely accommodating when we have needed and is very responsive when questions or concerns come up.
Kayana in the infant room takes amazing care of the babies. She took care of my now 2.5 year old and my current 10 month old since they were 2 months old. She’s thoughtful, kind, and caring and great at what she does.
I have been trying to give this place the benefit of the doubt with there being a new director, however things have just gotten worse. I want to speak out so other people know whats been going on here. Something needs to change, management and Cadence have ruined what was once a safe and educational place for the children. There are older kids in the younger kids room. Every single day my kid is moved back and forth between the two rooms. I have seen four and five year old kids in with two and three year olds. My child has been coming home and saying that they were with the little kids today and not their classroom. This is not right. The place is absolutely disgusting, there is dried pee on the bathroom floor. The teachers look defeated, stressed and overwhelmed. There are times in the morning there is one teacher and a bunch of mixed aged kids in the older kids room. I have seen babies on the floor and in bouncers in the older kid room. This place is not being run the right way. The kids deserve so much more than this it's not right. Ever since Cadence took over it has been a disaster, now it's even worse.
We are so appreciative to the teachers and your kind child approach. Our son is doing so well with the transition to being a big brother. The curriculum emphasizing social emotional learning, and the exposure he has to teachers gently comforting him and those around him, has played a key role in this. When his sister cries he runs over to gently pat her head and give her a snuggle and a kiss. It is so beautiful to see. Cadence has been a blessing to our whole family!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
My kids have went to The Nest/ Cadence since they were 6 months old. There have been some changes made since the center was taken over, but those have not affected our family specifically. The teachers care tremendously about the children and I especially love Mrs. Liana and Mrs. Cipriano. They are bright lights in our day and welcome us with a huge smile, a loving heart, and they treat my kids as if they are their own. They are some of the best child care teachers and leaders I have seen. My kids always seem to have fun while there and have learned good values and manners.
