What Parents Say
NATY'S LEARNING CENTER receives mixed reviews. Three parents praise the center's professional staff, creative activities, and caring approach to child development. However, three parents report serious concerns including insensitive handling of behavioral issues, mockery of a child's medical condition, physical injuries, unprofessional communication, and staff impatience.
My daughter has been in this daycare for almost two years and u have not had any problems. She comes home telling us the things she has learned in class. She is always talking about here teachers. Everyone in the daycare acts very polite even though I'm sure my daughter can be a handful at times I have yet to receive any complaints.
Naty and staff have been nothing but professional and great caregivers for our children who have been at this center for years and are going summers only now. They are always learning and doing creative activities. My youngest child wasn’t the easiest to deal with when she was younger but Naty and staff Always knew what to do to calm her down and listen. I highly recommend Natys to anyone looking for a daycare/learning center!
BEWARE: My daughter was 3 years old while under their care. Any parent knows that at this age children have lots of tantrums. My child was no exception. I began receiving calls to come pick her up because she wouldn't listen (she's only 3!) Then it became where when my husband would arrive the attendants would say to each other just let her do whatever she wants and if she gets hurt too bad cause she doesn't listen. My child is lactose intolerant and was made fun of by her teachers and classmates for passing gas and had a tantrum and I was called to pick her up. What they don't' understand (but should) is that that sometimes happens with lactose intolerance. I think the teacher if anything should have at least distracted the children instead of making things worse by laughing along with the children. With so much bullying going on the last thing we need is teachers egging kids on. When we got home my daughter says "if you misbehave i'm gonna call the police ok?" I said who told you that and she said her teacher. I was so upset because children need to see police offices as someone they can confide in in the event of an abduction or if separated from their parents and not as a threat. Another time she was scratched on her upper back by her teacher and not tiny and thin scratches-I mean deep/thick scratches and the excuse I was given is that the teacher was separating as she attempted to grab a childs face. Very unprofessional and I don't appreciate how they talk to her. I know that I only probably am aware of only some of the issues, but since she's so small she can't explain everything. Hopefully she won't remember these unpleasant experiences as she grows older.
Please don’t send your babies here. I had to pull mine out due to Natalia’s husband sitting me down after work and telling me my child cried too much. I also found a bruise on my babies arm and was told it was what happened when “babies played”. Save yourself the trouble
Impatient staff.
