We LOVE The Learning Patch Academy so much! My son needed some time to adjust due to various reasons ant they have been nothing but WONDERFUL to him and myself. They always txt me with pictures and updates, are very supportive and responsive to any questions I have and are willing to work with my child so he can thrive. My son has learned so many new skills and we couldn’t be happier. They are strict where strictness is required and they will let you know about good AND bad incidents but I have never felt a condescending tone or a rude attitude from anyone there. I wish I could give more stars 🌟, they have been a wonderful blessing. Thank you Teachees & Staff! 🥰

Amazing! Director and all teachers are very thoughtful, they go above and beyond for the well being of the children. I’ve had my 10 year old there and currently my 4 year old and both have thrived at TLPA.

I was looking forward to this learning center because the director was my oldest son's previous teacher many years ago. Nonetheless, I was very disppointed with the experience. My son only attended 4 days and director called me on a Sunday afternoon that I had to look for another daycare because he was a hazard to academy. I had to look for another daycare center asap. Good communication but not willing to work with children who are active and/or need time to adjust.

I don't give this rating a one star only because my child's vocabulary expanded so much while attending this facility and I think their teachers are great at what they do, what I do not agree with is the director who I thought very highly of until she gave me months of complaints. (keep in mind that my child is very vocal, she was 2 the majority of the time she attended, and she has assisted another daycare that closed due to covid so the daycare atmosphere was not new to her) First off, the director complains about almost everything, even the most irrelevant things. i.e., My child calling herself Miss Bubbles. The director promises to report good behavior, good days, etc., she did it about three times, and was always sure to emphasize on the bad days, such as the previously mentioned incident. She expects a *TWO* year old to behave like an adult. Even though my child is very vocal, the director would lie about particular incidents and basically tell me my child was a liar. She prioritizes other parents to her convenience and she is very condescending to those who receive child care assistance vs those who pay cash. She definitely made my child and I feel unwelcomed. I know for a fact that she does not do this to every single parent, it is her way of approaching those she does not want in her facility. Towards the end of the Academy's year, my child did not get a spot for the summer program because the director gave our time slot to another parent because I replied a day later, dismissing the fact that I am a full time accountant, a full time mom of two, I was expected to have my face glued to my phone and reply immediately. Another parent was reminded about the summer program and ALSO received a courtesy reminder via the director. I kept wondering why she would not just respectfully tell us that my daughter was not welcomed for, XYZ, reasons instead of doing what she did. I also had my other child on a waiting list since first enrolling my two year old, to which I never received a phone call to have her enrolled but the director was able to enroll other children her age on the waiting list.
