Living at Morningside was one of the worst experiences of my life - four long, terrible years. Mice, roaches, human feces, broken appliances, attempted murders, package theives, disgusting common areas that smell like urine, no responses from apathetic and rude management. Management only talks to you when they want your money; they do not care about the standard of living. I paid an exorbitant mandatory monthly amenity charge for amenities I didn't use and had strange /inconvenient opening hours anyway. Then they have the AUDACITY to charge me rent after my lease end date and refuse to zero it out, destroying my formerly great credit (yes, I am hardheaded, but will not pay money I do not owe). My apartment had mice for all four years because the dumpster was so gross. So many of my personal belongings were destroyed by them chewing, peeing, and pooping. I couldn't use my stove for the last two years - no amount of cleaning helped, because my neighbors were dirty. Plus, my health had declined incredibly while living there, and I feel as though the mice and roaches had something to do with it - particularly since it has improved after living somewhere pest-free. Speaking of trash , there's a large group of men that drink in the parking lot after work. They're not overly rowdy, but they don't want to go inside, so they pee on the dumpster - directly in front of the park. It's gross to see them do, gross to smell, and a child could see something they shouldn't. When things didn't work in my apartment, it often took weeks for anything to happen - if they came at all. I had a drawer that was broken when I moved in - a guy came and nailed in a screw (yes, you read that right), and it broke the next day again. A different man dropped the toilet tank's top on my bathtub, nicking it, and I was charged for it as damage! A separate maintenance man walked into my apartment without any notice, broke a potted plant on my porch, and left without telling anyone. I only know this because I caught it on my hidden security camera. I wonder who came into my home before I got that camera 3 years in. Maintenance would often mark work orders as complete without coming to fix the problem, so I'd have to put in another ticket. Or if they did fix something, many didn't leave anything to say they were there. They powerwashed the porches with bleach, melting over 20 plants and destroying furniture. My porch door was open for the breeze (apartment only had one window), and they sprayed that bleach water directly into my home. This place is ridiculous. Not to mention, it's generally just dangerous. Packages left for more than an hour had a 75% change of being stolen. I even had a mattress stolen, and months later, I found it being used in the basement! I witnessed a shooting while walking my dog and saw the suspects flee - never to be apprehended. I heard gunshots on more than a handful of occasions - one of them led to a murdered victim in the building across from me. Someone was also fatally stabbed at the laundromat down the street that I used to go to when the apartment's laundry room was locked. Please feel free to reach out if you want to learn more. Just whatever you do, don't ruin your life. Don't move to Morningside Apartments. I genuinely wish I had taken more photos of my awful experiences. The laundry room pictures are after they "cleaned" and "updated" it. I found human poop and pee in there once that stayed there for weeks. It's also where all the kids drink, smoke weed, and party. The laundry facilities in my building broke and were locked up, so this is the laundry across the courtyard. Speaking of kids, they would run through the stairwell screaming and kick our doors on a daily basis. They even chased me and my dog with sticks. *update- A Tenants Advocacy shared that this is a common and illegal practice from Morgan Properties. Morningside has now edited their response to this at least 4 times 🤔 I have screenshots of 3.

Very pleased with Cindy, always there for me walking me through out the leasing qualification process. At the begining I was not able to make a quick determination on the first tour units and lost that first shot I was really sad, it was completely different from were I came from. I kept searching and nothing met my needs. In less than three weeks I received the surprise call from Cindy. She has that cozy loft studio with perfect dimensions that makes me feel safe and happy For me was it was like " love at first sight" The rest is history. My experience with Morningside Apartments has been awesome since moving here about a month ago. The property is well maintained and the staff is very friendly. My main point of contact throughout the application and rental process was Adrien Bowen. She really made this process smooth and painless. The entire leasing staff has been professional and accommodating. I totally recommend Morningside Apartments if you’re looking for your next Apartment complex.

’ve had consistently disappointing experiences with the customer service at Morningside Apartments and Townhomes. Every time I visit the office, I’m met with unfriendly attitudes and a lack of basic courtesy. The staff seem uninterested in helping and often come across as rude or dismissive. It feels like you’re bothering them just by asking a question or needing assistance. Good customer service should be the standard in any residential community, and unfortunately, Morningside falls far short. This kind of attitude makes the whole experience frustrating and unwelcoming. I hope management takes this seriously and makes improvements, because residents and visitors deserve to be treated with respect and professionalism.
