Mt. Calvary Lutheran Preschool

All FIVE of my children attended Mt Calvary for preschool over the course of a 14 year span. Always has been exceptional. Warm, caring teachers who have had a lasting effect on my kids & their love of Jesus. Great education~ the kids were very prepared for kindergarten. All of the teachers have been amazing, but Miss Hannah, who had all 5, is a true gem.

My daughter has been at Mount Calvary for about a year now and it has been a wonderful experience from the start. The staff truly cares for the kids and they make you feel you’re part of a family. The school has a great balance of learning and playing, my 2 year old knows all of her letters, numbers colors and more! The outdoor playground is beautiful and the indoor gym is my daughter’s favorite. I am truly grateful we found this spot and I’d highly recommend this to any parent!

This school and its wonderful teachers take really good care of our kiddos. The kids learn a lot of great autonomy skills - handwashing for toddlers right from the start, caring for their own lunchbox/stuff/etc., putting things away after use, lots of crafts and exploration of sensory bins, and our favorite - a lot of time spent outside! The summer program involved water days and wheels days - and we saw our kid's bike riding skills really improve over the last few months because of bike days at school. The teachers were also super-great about helping with potty training and making transitions to new classrooms. The weekly newsletter for parents and potlucks/events hosted by the school are above and beyond. Thanks so much Mt. Calvary!

Wonderful preschool! Mt. Cavalry has highly skilled teachers and the most caring staff. They emphasize early learning through song, play, and creativity. The flexible days and times allow parents to ease their littles into school OR provide full-day childcare depending on family needs. My daughter absolutely loves attending!

Send your kids here! Our realtor had recommended this school for our little ones as we did not have the opportunity to look for a preschool before moving. Since we can compare it to other forms of daycare that our children have been a part of we can easily say that this program is truly one of a kind. Not only have our kids’ knowledge grown exponentially, but everyone there is so nurturing. They almost become family and I love knowing how safe and loved my children feel there. A good example is we had a scary situation happen last year. I let the school know just to prewarn them that my kids may seem different than usual. They immediately took charge and went above and beyond to make sure my kids felt safe and happy which I will truly always be grateful for. When I need the extra help (letting the kids go an extra day), this school really steps up. This school creates a safe and loving space for their students and my children have learned so much (even the continents!). Mount Calvary isn’t just a school. Everyone that works there creates this sense of family and support that I will forever be grateful for! As they say, it takes a village to raise and guide a child and this program is part of that village.
