My oldest graduated from Montgomery Montessori School and is now a thriving 11-year-old. That foundation mattered. Even years later, I can see how the independence, confidence, and love of learning she developed there stayed with her. My twins didn’t attend, and while they had meaningful time with their grandparents, I understood firsthand what a difference the right early environment can make. Now my youngest is in the infant room and has been there for just two months. The growth I’ve seen in that short time is remarkable. He is climbing Montessori play furniture confidently and safely, communicating more clearly, and engaging with the world in a focused, curious way. Babies do learn quickly, but they still need a carefully prepared environment to channel that growth. Montgomery Montessori provides exactly that. Karen and the rest of the infant teachers are attentive, warm, and deeply responsive. They do not let babies “cry it out.” If he needs to be rocked to sleep, they rock him. If he needs to be held and soothed, they hold him. The care feels individualized and intentional. I can tell he is genuinely loved there. It feels less like dropping him off at a school and more like leaving him with extended family who understand child development and respect each child’s pace. That combination of professionalism and heart is rare.

From the very first moment we walked through the doors, Karen made it clear that this school is more than just a place for children to attend each day — it is a space rooted in love, intention, and genuine care. Her presence alone brings a sense of calm and reassurance, and it’s immediately obvious that she knows each child not just by name, but by heart. Karen’s attentiveness to every single child who walks through the door is truly remarkable. She takes the time to acknowledge them, connect with them, and make them feel safe and welcomed. There is never a sense of rushing or overlooking — every child matters, every emotion is validated, and every milestone is celebrated. As a parent, that level of care is priceless. As a director, Karen is organized, responsive, and deeply involved in the day-to-day experience of the school. Communication is clear, thoughtful, and consistent, which builds trust and confidence for families. As an educator, she is knowledgeable, intentional, and passionate about early childhood development. She understands that learning goes beyond academics and incorporates emotional growth, confidence-building, and social skills into everything she does. And as a nurturer, she is simply unmatched. Her warmth, patience, and compassion create an environment where children feel loved, supported, and encouraged to be exactly who they are. Watching the way Karen interacts with the children — especially my son, Elias — has been incredibly reassuring. I know without a doubt that he is not just being supervised, but truly cared for, understood, and supported. She creates a space where children are allowed to grow at their own pace while still being gently guided and encouraged every step of the way. I truly wish I had found this school sooner. Karen is exactly what Elias and I needed during this season of our lives. Entrusting someone with your child is not easy, but Karen makes it feel natural and safe. Her dedication, heart, and leadership have made a meaningful impact on our family, and for that I will always be grateful. I also want to take a moment to recognize the incredible staff who made such a meaningful impact on my son Elias’s transition. Mary Kate, Kim, Chris, Kimberly, Terri, Cassie — and everyone else who played a role — thank you. I apologize in advance if I missed anyone by name, but please know that each of you mattered more than you probably realize. Transitions can be hard for children and parents, and this team handled ours with such patience, care, and intention. Every interaction felt thoughtful. Every day felt supported. Elias wasn’t just adjusted into a new routine — he was welcomed. He was met with kindness, reassurance, consistency, and genuine warmth, which made all the difference during a sensitive time. Each staff member brought something special to the experience. Whether it was a comforting presence, encouragement, communication, or simply showing up with a smile and understanding, they collectively created an environment where Elias could feel safe, confident, and supported. That kind of teamwork doesn’t happen by accident — it comes from people who truly care about the children in their care. As a parent, it means everything to know that my child is surrounded by adults who are attentive, compassionate, and invested in his well-being. This team didn’t just help Elias transition — they helped him thrive. And for that, I will always be grateful. This experience has been nothing short of the best. The level of care, professionalism, and heart shown by the staff is exactly what every parent hopes for when choosing a school. Elias is better for having been supported by this team, and so am I. Thank you all for what you do, every single day. It does not go unnoticed. If you are searching for a school led by someone who treats every child as their own, leads with both professionalism and heart, and genuinely cares about the well-being of families — this is the place. Karen is one of a kind, and her impact is felt the moment you walk through the door.
