This school is really a joy to behold. My child has blossomed into a even more bright and interested two-year-old. She loves going to school and her language skills have developed greatly in the few short months she has been there. A few of the highlights of this school: The organic garden on the 5-acre property. They are in the process of re-landscaping so that each child will have a plot to learn how to garden. My two-year-old talks about how she will grow some "daisy-flowers!" The little kids learn yoga everyday. This is adorable and hilarious. My daughter practices this at home sometimes. It is wonderful for learning about patience and about quiet time. The faculty is incredibly responsive to the children's needs. The director felt that my daughter and another little boy needed to be graduated to the next class level, but neither were potty-trained. Over the course of ONLY A WEEK, both were potty-trained! One of the teachers' aids worked with the two of them, and now both are happily in big-kid pants! (I am a first-time parent, but I think that potty-training is not usually so easy?) The parents are very involved at the school and the faculty is obliging to our wishes. There is a (log-in secured) website with daily and weekly updates of your child's learning plan and progress. You can also ask, and they will post pictures of you child. Since I work all day, it is wonderful to be able to keep such close supervision of what my child is doing. (I can also ask her about her new yoga poses!!)
