What Parents Say
Creative Beginnings is highly praised by parents for its caring, experienced staff and family-like atmosphere. Parents consistently report their children are happy, developmentally supported, and engaged through hands-on, creative activities. The school is noted for its flexibility, open-door policy, and developmental (rather than age-based) classroom divisions.
Both my children have been with Sarah and the Creative Beginnings team since they were six weeks old. My oldest is now seven and my youngest is just about 5. Creative Beginnings is like my family. They are happy and loving teachers. The classrooms are clean, engaging and age/level appropriate. My kids have always been happy there (even when they weren't, cue toddler seperation anxiety). The whole staff is flexible and helpful, they are strict about policies that protect my kids and all their friends and that's important to me. I wish I had a ton of money to donate to our little school to get them a bigger campus but all in all I wouldn't change a thing. I would highly recommend this school to anyone.
We joined the Creative Beginnings family three years ago when our son started in the infant room at twelve weeks. Our daughter started at 10 weeks and I have always been amazed by how much the teachers truly love our children. All of the teachers have celebrated every success that our children have had! The teachers are also there to help us through the harder parts of raising children by coming up with creative solutions to any issue we have brought up. Everyone at the school celebrates what makes our children unique individuals, which is so important to us at this stage in their lives. Our older son is three and is able to solve problems and express his emotions. He is creative and funny and we definitely owe most of his development to the Creative Beginnings team! I am so thankful that he is able to express himself at school and have teachers that truly listen to him. Our daughter is one and is encouraged to sign as she only says a handful of words. She has been stimulated each day since she started with art, music, outside play and stories. It is amazing to see how much she loves to come to school! THANK YOU to everyone at Creative Beginnings for guiding our children!
For the past 8 years our children have attended Creative Beginnings. We have been thrilled with the school and highly recommend it. Sarah and her staff have done an excellent job in helping shape our children into wonderful, caring , and emotionally strong kids. After moving off of Johns Island, we still felt that Creative Beginnings was worth the drive! Our youngest child “graduates” from CB in a couple of weeks. We will be sad to go, but are very thankful and blessed to have had such a wonderful experience.
We had our daughter in the infant room and the toddler room and it was an amazing experience. Her teachers truly cared for her and would send us pictures throughout the day. We loved all her teachers! They spent time planning crafts, singing songs, reading stories, walks in the buggie, and other engaging activities. We love Creative Beginnings!
We love Creative Beginnings and have gone well out of our way to take both of our kids there over the last 7 years. We live on James Island and after getting pregnant with our first child we looked into a dozen different preschools in the area and knew that Creative Beginnings was the right one for our family. There is so much love given by the teachers and our children have blossomed developmentally in their care. We have total faith in Sarah and Morgan (directors) and feel that they provide extraordinary care at an affordable price. I have recommended this preschool to others and will continue to do so. Just don't expect to pick up sparkling clean children, as they have lots of fun and the fun can get messy! My kids have always been happy here and I have always felt like I was dropping them off with family.
