This school is outstanding! My son, a Covid baby (born 2020) had to deal with the struggles of early social distancing and I wanted to ensure he’d hit his developmental milestones and develop and keen sense of vital socialization. He has plus more! He has formed awesome relationships throughout the process, and enjoys coming to school. He has excelled in all academic aspects with early advancements of fine motor skills. Staff and teachers are kind and very involved—they walk hand in hand with you, reporting updates and progress of your child each day. Special thank you to Ms Laura for being so awesome and providing a fun and safe learning environment! The location is perfect as it is secluded, away from traffic, ensuring optimum safety for your child. My daughter starts soon, and she’s super excited!!
We tried the Montessori down Nogales and pulled our child out tl attend Montessori of Walnut, 2 years ago. It was the best decision we made for her. The Director and teachers/staff at MOW are professional, kind and shows compassion that goes with education and life learning. My daughter interacts with all teachers in the playground which is also nice to see. If the staff works well together, it permeates thru the whole school and kids. They foster tenderness and fun/play thru that 0-5 year olds need for both successful learning and brain development. I was excited to see they are interested in learning innovative ideas such as implementation of the calming corner, that promotes self awareness, learning of emotions and coping in a healthy way. This self regulation, in turn, fosters focus and a "ready" environment for learning and social skills building. We will miss MOW as my daughter is school aged and will be going to school now. Thank you to Ms. Laura and all the wonderful teachers and staff!
My oldest son attended in 2019-2020. Mrs. Laura and all of the teachers we interacted with were amazing. My son was well prepared for kindergarten and learned valuable social skills. My daughter started in 2023 and it was great to see familiar faces. The staff remembered our family when we returned and it was an added comfort to know our daughter would be in good hands. Which is one of the main reasons both of our children attended this school. Both of my children have had great experiences and enjoyed going to school. The fun activities and programs available are an added bonus! We will definitely miss everyone when it is time to transition to our school district.
We love this school. Great program, wonderful teachers, clean and beautiful facility, fabulous play yard... what more can you ask for? We have had three children at this school and have been coming here for over 4 years. It's just perfect! honestly this is by far the best school for us. We also have at least 4 other families who live close to us who go to this school and they constantly discuss how their kids have progressed because of this Montessori school.
We've been a Montessori of Walnut family for three years now and we love it. Ms. Laura, teachers and staff have all been wonderful to work with in developing my daughter's life and learning skills. Our daughter has excelled here and we have seen her growth week over week. This is a true Montessori school. The school offers extra curriculum (music, dancing, sports, and summer camps) and our daughter enjoys the classes, swim in the summer and dance, music and sports classes during the other seasons. She just turned four years old and is mastering simple math equations (addition and subtractions), recognizes words, writes her name without help. She is organized, cleans up after herself when she's done playing with her toys at HOME. Together we are raising we are raising a good citizen. Now that the infant room has been reopened, our son has joined the MOW family and just like we experienced the growth with our daughter we see him growing week over week. We highly recommend this school.
