Montessori Harbor Mesa is a wonderful place for children to learn and grow. The teachers are caring and patient with the children. Our daughter attended this school over 30 years ago, and now our grandson attends the school. Mrs. De Frenza, principal and owner since the school inception, creates an amazing environment at the school for the children and their families.

I went to both the preschool and the elementary school, but unfortunately in the 3rd grade we moved to a different city. The school was a Godsend for me. They help children advance and develop at such a phenomenal speed. I remember that by the time I was mean't to start at my new school I was further ahead of the other students and they wanted me to skip a grade. I had learned to read at an early age and divide and multiply by the time i was in 2nd grade. The teachers were always extremely nice and always very informative when it came to meeting with parents. They made sure the children accomplished as much as they were capable of. (they say we use 10% of our brains and I believe they pushed that 10%) The principal was amazing as well. She was always very kind. Even years after I stopped going to the school she remembered my brother and I, and my parents by name. Which is always nice. I have nothing but great memories from this school and I'm extremely thankful that my parents picked Harbor Mesa. I recommend this school without a question to everyone who has the chance to send their children here.
I attended this amazing school in the 80's. Preschool thru 6th. I am who I am today because of the foundation this school provided me. Thank you Mrs Defrenza, I will never forget those years.
