My daughter has been coming here for a few months and I have zero complaints. ALL the staff are friendly/ kind regardless if they are your kiddos teacher or not. Andrea is a great director… and will answer any questions you have even if you have 1000… at first I wasn’t too sure about bringing your own meals but it’s honestly best. No one knows your child like you do and what they enjoy / don’t enjoy eating. Finding a place for my 1 year old here has been a blessing.

I'm extremely disappointed with Montessori East County Preschool and Infants. On one of the instances, my daughter was punched in the nose by another child, and most recently, she has broken capillaries and a fingerprint bruise on her face. I took her to the pediatrician to have her face looked at, in hopes that she would open up and tell the doctor who really did this to her and to get advice on how to heal broken blood vessels. Unfortunately, based on the size and force of the mark, it may not have been a child. The director said that the child that my daughter named is too sickly to have done this. When I tried to get answers, I was repeatedly dismissed with, "What do you want me to do?" Their solution to bullying is simply moving the child, not addressing the issue or teaching the kids proper behavior. The cameras don’t store footage for more than 72 hours, so it’s impossible to get answers about what’s really going on. The director’s response when I expressed concerns about my child being hurt again was chilling: “I can’t guarantee she won’t get hit again. If you’re not okay with that, this isn’t the environment for her.” I removed my daughter from this preschool and do not recommend it to anyone looking for a supportive environment for their child. It’s like the McDonald's of Montessori—cheap and pretending to offer a quality Montessori.

I absolutely love dropping my daughter off at school here! She started going a couple of months ago when she turned 6 months old. In 2 months I’ve seen her progress so much and she really enjoys her time. How would someone know that an 8 month old enjoys going to daycare? The smile on her face! The teachers are fantastic and I feel that they truly care for my baby. They make her feel special when I drop her off in the morning by greeting her with cheer and tell her she’s beautiful every day! For having to spend time away from my girl, this is the best place I’ve found and I’m happy they’re so great!

I Don’t even know we’re to start. The staff is wonderful the atmosphere is fun the teachers are wonderful. This daycare has become family to my child she started going when she was 3 months old and has been going for 2 years do to relocation in job today was her last day and a very sad day for me. My daughter attended both the infant and toddler groups were she learned a lot and made lots of friend who she took steps with played with and learned with. I love that every holidays they do fun arts and crafts for the kids on mother’s days and Father’s Day the kids always do a nice art project that can be kept forever. During the summer the do plenty activities with the kids and water days. For Halloween they do trick or treats around the neighborhood. They accommodate with your schedule and with any dietary and medical instructions and are always supportive. I wish my baby journey didn’t have to end if I didn’t move I would have kept her at this facility until she went to kindergarten. I would recommend this daycare to everyone and anyone who wants the best environment for there child. Message to the staff from my kids and Xitlali We love you so much and we will definitely miss you!

We enrolled our daughter here in 2015, just before she turned two. She just started Transitional Kindergarten (TK), so she "graduated" from here to start "real" school instead of preschool. Make no mistake, though: this is a real school where your kids will learn *a lot*, and not just about shapes and letters and numbers and such. Our daughter learned how to do so many things independently, and she also learned how to interact with other kids (she's our only child). Even though our daughter goes to a different school now than her best friend from here, we still have her best friend over to play. The staff here are simply amazing. I can't heap enough praise on the teachers that my daughter had: Ms. Sue, Ms. Bridgette, and Ms. Megan. It was easy to see how much they treasure working with the kids. Ms. Andrea and Ms. Kerry are also outstanding members of the team at this preschool. It was really neat to watch my daughter with a teacher (Ms. Kerry) who obviously loves to read. I highly recommend them; this preschool is worth every penny!
