Lakeside Presb Preschool & Children'S Ctr

We’ve had such a wonderful experience at Lakeside Presbyterian Preschool! The teachers truly care about the kids and make learning fun and engaging every day. Our son comes home with new ideas, showing his learning every week. You can tell they put so much heart into what they do. The director is incredibly kind and always helpful, creating a warm, welcoming environment for families. Our child loves going to school here and is so happy to go to school!

I absolutely love this place for my son! We moved to Lakeside last May when my son was 3. I toured a few other places and Lakeside Presbyterian checked all the boxes for me. The staff truly pour into the children and you can tell there’s such an amazing blend of care with education. They provide a classroom setting and an entire curriculum. The program is geared to prepare children for elementary school. There’s a spacious play area for the children and the preschool is gated providing safety and peace of mind. My son came from a faith based daycare so having him in a preschool that was faith based was also very important to me. I plan to have him here until he graduates out at 5 years old. The school has not only cared for my son, but also for me. The welcoming nature is so special and I’ve felt such a warm embrace by not only staff but by parents too. La Teresa is an incredible director who leads a loving and brilliant staff. My son is learning, growing and thriving here and I am so grateful to LCPC for supporting and navigating this important stage in his life.

This preschool is the best! It has been a round for a long time and many parents who now have their kids attending were once preschoolers that attended the school. In the midst of a caring atmosphere, the children are learning and being well prepared for school. Also, since it is church based, children get introduced to Jesus and that God loves them. La Teresa is the director and she leads a loving and caring staff with many of them being a part of the preschool staff for many years. If I was looking for a preschool for my kids or grandkids this would be the place I would check out.

We absolutely love Lakeside Pres Preschool! My oldest started there when he was two, he’s now in TK nearby but now my middle child is there. The school staff is so kind and positive, they are communicative and support collaboration with the parents. The playground is big and open, it encourages open imaginative play. The kids have so much fun and always come home excited to tell us about their friends and what they did at school.

I can sing their praises all day! We had my daughter enrolled in this preschool for about 2 years. We started the winter right before the pandemic and gladly came back until she graduated and headed into kindergarten. And let me tell you they prepared her for kindergarten. My daughter had to take an assessment for her entry to the school and she passed flying colors thanks to the efforts of her teachers. All the teachers were incredibly nurturing and provided so much care to the children. I also love the location of the preschool itself. It’s in the back and far enough away from the road that I felt like no random was going to walk up to the fence. And the play ground and the trees made me nostalgic of when I was a child. Call me crazy but I loved telling my daughter to dump the sand out of her shoes before going into the house, it just meant she played hard. We love this school and I recommend if you’re on the fence go check it out and enroll your child.
