Mom'S House Day Care Center

So far we have had a positive experience with mom's house. Their scholarships allow us to place our son in child care while I work and go to school full time. The staff have been accommodating of his dietary needs and very caring. I cannot speak to the academic progress specifically but I haven't noticed any changes thus far. I get pictures of him playing with other kids which is nice. I would give 5 stars but it's been over a month and both his father and I cannot access the childcare app at the same time and there doesn't seem to be any specific eta on getting that fixed

Mom’s House is a one of a kind program that does not get the credit it deserves. It helps single parents who are pursuing education with quality childcare. I had been accepted to the nursing program starting January 2017 and had my son November 2016. All that stood in my way of finishing the program was daycare that was affordable to meet my needs. I had only found out about Mom’s House through word of mouth and thought it was too good to be true. Fast forward 2 years later and I have graduated with my Associates Degree in Nursing. Not only do they provide exceptional care for my son, I attend monthly parent meetings to learn about parenting strategies, children safety, and community resources that are available that I otherwise would not know about. There is a food and clothing bank for when things may be tight financially one week, and can pick up some essential items. The staff is very professional and courteous and have responded to whatever need or concern I may have not only with my child but me as well. They make it feel like family. They helped me during my schooling to be able to vent out some of my frustrations and be given guidance during the difficult times. These ladies are selfless to be able to dedicate there time and attention to our kids. Not everywhere can you get that. Not only have I benefited from this program but my son has as well. They have provided the stability and structure he needed while I was pursuing my education and has flourished because of it.

There is a staff member there that for some reason she doesn’t get along with me and I had brought it up to the manager and the Director and We were supposed to do a one on one to see what was going on and the staff member that I have an issue with didn’t want to meet so I got angry and I went and I got my kids from the daycare and I basically told him that if she’s going to be working there then I don’t want my kids no longer there so basically they let me go and my kids and kept the staff member!!! But I can see why they would do that because her friend works there as well miss Dawn !! And they probably didn’t want to re-hire somebody because the process is so long !!! This is a place for mothers they need help and I feel as though that they let me down and they let my children down I have done nothing but try to be nice and helpful to these people and try to recruit new mothers for the program!! Everyone that I speak to my brother from From different agencies they all told me the same thing that that’s wrong and that they shouldn’t of done that and they basically just failed me and my children!!!
