This church is amazing! Have met some of the nicest people ever here! It's not just a church; they make everyone feel like family from the 1st step inside! The Worship Team performs breathtaking music in celebration of Jesus/God! Pastors Charlie and Harold always give the most uplifting messages that truly inspire! They have a way of breaking it all down and keeping it so real! This church is absolutely wonderful! :D
Since joining Momentum church this year, I have learned so much. With the fellowship they have here, it's encouraging me to take the next step to become closer to God. Brothers and sisters of Momentum, i say thank you for showing me who my God is by what you do.
You are made to not only feel welcome here on day one but you are also made to feel USEFUL as a volunteer at the church. We all have gifts we were born with & they motivate you to share them by all means. I've been to many churches in the past & always found it incredibly odd all the rigmarole you would have to go through in order to volunteer anywhere within the church. Sometimes you'd never even get a response...despite numerous attempts at contacting the group leader! Ugh! Anyhow, it's a casual church with easy to comprehend teachings, NOT preachings, of the Holy Bible. There is absolutely NOTHING religious about this church and that's a great thing because religion is man made. Dress code is casual (of course no promiscuous clothing, please), the band & singers are very, very talented playing greatly uplifting mostly modern Christian music. Pastor Arms is the most approachable Pastor I've ever met. He doesn't have "body guards" around him to keep folks at bay, he is a "good ol' boy" from Tennessee with a fantastic family (w/ an equally fantastic sense of humor). Pastors Luis & Lisa Ruiz are just as warm, friendly & very uplifting. They have groups for every age group across the board, game nights, all kinds of activities always going on. If your looking for a TRULY friendly, simple non-denominational church, you should stop in for a visit at one or both service times!
Everyone was very welcoming when I showed up. FIVE people greeted me before I even sat down. Felt very welcome. Worship was great, felt like the message was very basic but will return if I'm in the area again.
