My 2-year-old attends The Merit School of Wellington, and we have truly loved our experience. As a first-time mom, I had a lot of anxiety about sending my one and only child to daycare—but from day one, this school has exceeded all of our expectations. The office staff, Jessi and Jen, are absolutely fantastic. They’re incredibly responsive, kind, and have gone out of their way to accommodate our family’s changing needs (including job transitions). Their flexibility and support have made a world of difference during a hectic time. My son’s teacher, Ms. Shakeela, is wonderful—caring, engaging, and clearly passionate about what she does. Every staff member we’ve encountered has been excellent. My little one comes home happy and tired from his busy, fun-filled days, and it’s easy to see how much he is learning and growing. The food is healthy and thoughtfully planned, which we really appreciate. I especially love the communication through the school app—it’s so reassuring to receive updates and see adorable photos of my child smiling, playing, and participating in activities. The curriculum is always posted, and the related projects are enriching and developmentally appropriate. This school has created a nurturing environment where children feel loved, supported, and encouraged to thrive. I’m so grateful we chose The Merit School of Wellington—it’s been an incredible place for our son to learn, grow, and feel cared for.

The staff at the Merit School of Wellington have become family, and trusting them with my daughter has been one of the best decisions I've made. Tomorrow will be the 1-year anniversary of my daughter going to daycare here (she started at 4.5 months old) and she has only thrived since! The teachers and staff having been nothing but patient, gracious, kind, funny, and caring and my daughter absolutely loves it. Her face lights up when she sees her teachers, they remember the little details, and seeing her grow in a place where I know she feels safe has been such a joy. I know choosing a daycare can be so anxiety-ridden, but this place has been a safe space from the beginning for us, and I can't recommend it enough!

My kids have been going here for 4 years and we love it ! The management staff, Ms.Jennifer and Ms.Jessie are always super responsive and helpful with anything me or my kids need. My kids love it there and love their teachers, Mr.Jermaine specifically! We have never had any issues and my son has an allergy and they have always follow protocol and handled with care! It’s difficult to find a good child care center but I would definitely recommend the Merit School of Wellington!

We have been entrusting our daughter to the Merit School of Wellington since she was just 2 years old, and now at 7, we continue to be amazed by the exceptional care. From the very beginning, it was evident that this daycare was more than just a childcare place; it's a warm, nurturing environment that feels like an extension of our family. The staff members are not only highly professional but also incredibly warm and caring, making it easy for not only our daughter but us as parents to feel at ease and comfortable with her being in their care. Our daughter's transition from being a timid 2-year-old to a confident 7-year-old has been supported every step of the way by the amazing staff. Not only does she look forward to going to daycare every day during the school year (before and after care), but she also has an absolute blast during the summer months. The activities and programs they offer are not only educational but also incredibly fun, ensuring that she is engaged and entertained throughout the day. We cannot recommend Merit School of Wellington highly enough. It's more than just a daycare; it's a place where our daughter feels loved, valued, and truly happy. My son started at Minnieland at 2 months old and then transferred to Merit School of Wellington when he was about a year old. At both locations we have had great experiences. My son has benefited from the small classroom sizes and very nurturing teachers. Every morning we are greeted by Jessi and/or Jenn as soon as we walk in. All the teachers we see will say hi to my son by name. It appears like a larger daycare, but you really feel that each teacher takes a special interest in your child. My son has moved up from the Infant Room to the Toddler Explorers and most recently to the Preschool Explorers. One thing that I have really appreciated through these different transitions is how they take care and slowly introduce the child to the classroom and move them once they feel that the child is comfortable. You never feel like they are rushing to quickly move them. When you talk to the staff, you will realize that a lot of the teachers have been at the school for a long time, which speaks very highly for The Merit School. You will quickly see the experience that these teachers have with the lesson plans, activities, and projects that they do with the children. If you are looking for a daycare for your child, I highly recommend that you look at The Merit School of Wellington.
