La Petite Academy - Dumfries Road

I highly recommend La Petite Academy of Manassas! My son has attended for years, and the experience has only gotten better. The live-feed cameras and the photos and updates sent through the school's app provide wonderful peace of mind and a great glimpse into all the fun he’s having throughout the day. I appreciate the balance they offer between educational group learning and free play which lets kids be themselves and have fun. Mr. John in the Pre-K room, in particular, is excellent with the children. The center’s director, Vanessa, is easy to reach and has worked closely with us to ensure that our son has a positive experience at daycare. My baby daughter will be starting soon, and I’m relieved knowing she’ll be cared for by such an attentive and caring staff!

I’m truly very surprised to see some of the negative reviews here and wonder if they were meant for another location? My children have attended La Petite Academy in Manassas for a little over a year now and we’ve been treated like family the entire time. All of the teachers know each child’s name, they’re comforting and nurturing, and incredibly compassionate. I deeply appreciate the communication I receive from the teachers and the director, and never feel surprised or caught off guard like I have at some other preschools in the area. They are flexible and understanding and they put kids safety and learning first. Though the live-streaming in classrooms is a plus, I hardly feel like I need it most days. I get regular updates via the app of my kids having fun and playing with their friends and I trust that they’re being well cared for. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Wonderful daycare with caring and attentive staff. The environment is clean, safe, and welcoming. I feel confident leaving my child here every day. Highly recommend!

My daughter has been going there for 2 years and she loves it. I never had an issue with them and the staff and nice and friendly. It’s a clean and safe building also. 10/10. I will always recommend them.

Horrible experience. Constant revolving staff, not enough attention paid to the kids. In the short span of two months that my son attended this facility, he was cut with scissors that were left open to the toddler floor in a normal bucket, hit and scratched by another child multiple times, and I picked him up one day with his pants soaked in pee down to his ankles. That was the last day for him. They bushed off my initial concerns and I didn't even confront them about the pee, I just left. It was incredibly frustrating the first times because they said they have live cameras... BUT they don't record video on site? That makes NO sense.
