Minnieland Academy At Harrisonburg (#17)

If you are questioning about which daycare to put your child in so you can have a peace of mind while at work, Learning Paths Academy is your place. For the last 5 months we have been here, it’s been clear communication. The teachers are so caring and thorough when it comes to my child. But my biggest praise comes with management up front. Every morning we walk in, we are greeted with smiles and great attitudes. Anytime I have a concern, it is brought to great attention and handled in such a timely manner. Just knowing they care as much as they do, proves it’s not just a “job” to them and for that my family is grateful. Thank you Learning Paths Academy for everything you do and providing a fun and safe place for my child!

This daycare is absolutely amazing. They are very respectful, keep my daughter on a great schedule and do so many great activities with her. Jurnee, Alexis, Amber and bri are absolutely amazing! These girls truly care about your child. It is terrifying sending your child to a daycare but I promise you this one is amazing. They have a summer program they tie dye shirts have water days and so much more. They do so many fun things with them

Both of my daughters attended and attend here, nothing but positive feedback. They love and take care of my children like their own! All their needs are met and and very well taken care of! Not only that but the amount that they both have learned while attending this facility is just amazing! The staff and management are wonderful and care very much about every child in their facility.

I am deeply disappointed and heartbroken by my experience with this daycare. Trusting others to care for your child is not easy, and that trust was repeatedly violated here. Children were not having their diapers changed properly or in a timely manner, which is not just neglectful, it is alarming and unacceptable. Management showed little concern when these issues were brought up. There was no sense of accountability, no urgency, and no effort to take responsibility or make things right. Instead of reassurance, I was met with defensiveness and excuses. What made this even more painful was seeing how unhappy and unsupported the staff appeared. Low morale was obvious, and it directly impacted the care the children received. A daycare should feel safe, warm, and nurturing. This one did not. Parents deserve peace of mind when leaving their children in someone else’s care. Unfortunately, this facility failed to provide even the most basic level of care and compassion. I would strongly caution other parents before enrolling their children here. I wouldn't trust them to care for a rat, much less my child.

Director and assistant director are very welcoming when it comes down to greeting parents and children, the staff were great with my daughter when she came here! She blended in very well and Ms. Michaela took great care of her and made her feel welcome!
