Milestones Learning Center & Childcare

I was very hesitant to enroll my 2 year old into a daycare after being a stay at home mom since he was born. I tried a "mom's morning out" program in Ellijay and was disgusted with the way my son was treated. He was afraid of the teacher and had anxiety whenever I mentioned school. I was lucky enough to find that milestones was under new management and we are so happy to be there now. My son is no longer afraid of school and is even happy to talk about going. The staff is friendly and you can tell they really care about each individual child. Management is friendly and attentive to individual needs. The facility is clean and fun for the kids. (Best part I think are the multiple small toilets and sinks in the bathroom) helps so much with children becoming independent after potty training. I know this is long but we couldn't be more happy with milestones. I would recommend them to anyone looking into daycare.

Milestones has truly been a blessing to our little boy. They have such flexible hours that me and my husband are able to work full-time and still have a place to send our little boy. He knows all his animal sounds, can count to 20, knows almost the entire alphabet and some colors and he is only 2.5 years old! The teachers are wonderful and so is the owner and Director. I trust everyone with my baby! They call when something is wrong and they care so much about every student! I can not imagine sending my child anywhere else!

Milestones has an amazing staff and we'll equiped rooms for all ages. The care about each child like they were there own child. I couldn't ask for a better place for my 3yr old to spend her day while I'm at work. Thank you to all the teachers and staff. Y'all are doing a wonderful job. Keep up the great work.

9-12-23 UPDATE I wanted to give an updated review for Milestones. My 6 year old graduated from Milestones this last summer 2023 and just got her very first Kindergarten eval (Blue Ridge Elementary). Thank you Milestones for my daughter's OUTSTANDING Pre-K program in your QUALITY RATED business! My daughter knocked it out of the park! She literally scored "ABOVE AVERAGE" in every criteria!!! This is a direct reflection of your SUPERB Pre-K program and most EXCELLENT staff! Milestones is the Best Learning Center in the area, and I am so thankful for you and your staff! Milestones has given my daughter a jump start and is well on her way to success in life because of the skills and learning she acquired. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I just wanted to give milestones a positive thumbs up. In my dental office, we use universal infection control protocols as always, and re-opening the office post COVID-19 shelter in place, we’ve even implemented further infection control measures above and beyond the current guidelines. But any day care must deal with things beyond their control. They can’t control where their employees go after hours, we are parents and other family members of a child go, and even very young kids Who are extremely hand to mouth oriented. My two teenage children went through milestones, and my three-year-old daughter attends milestones now. This daycare has gone above and beyond the state guidelines to keep our children safe, their staff, and subsequently our families and community. Teachers/staff are limited to a particular classroom, all of the touchable objects like toys and learning materials are wiped down and disinfected several times throughout the day repeatedly, employees and children entering the facility are also screened daily. It is my opinion that they are doing everything they can to keep our most precious treasures safe. Speaking as a “daddy“, I have been very pleased with how they are handling the pandemic affecting our country and my child will continue to be in rolled at milestones. Awesome place and staff! It fit my schedule perfect and all his meals are included. They always keep me up to date with what’s going on. If he’s doing good or need to work on something or any activities they have planned. My son loves it and runs right in. I couldn’t be happier.
