This wonderful community charters several BSA Scout Packs & Troops. We worshipped together to celebrate Scout Sunday. They presented each Eagle Scout with a beautiful Bible. Thank you for continuing to offer your support of this Church and the Scouting community. The beautiful historic chapel serves as the venue for our Courts of Honor & Crossing Over ceremonies. They also allow us to host Cub Scout Day Camp in June. Please support the pumpkin sales the whole month of October. It supports the church and the Scouting units that serve at the sale. Midway UMC truly is a pillar of the Midway community!
Loving community is at the core of Midway United Methodist Church! This community has loved me deeply since I have been at Midway, and I know they would do this for everyone. Also, whatever your flavor of worship is there is a place for you at Midway. There is a more traditional service, an acoustic service with communion served every week, and a more contemporary service! Also, this church actively supports the amazing work of community organizations like Meals by Grace, No Longer Bound, Wellspring Living, just to name a few! Personally, I am grateful that a church like Midway exists in the Alpharetta and South Forsyth communities. It's definitely a place with a visit!
Our children attend Midway Preschool and it’s been a huge blessing to our family. Everyone is so kind and loving. We have bfelt supported both inside preschool and at home. We love it here and recommend the church and preschool often!
Midway UMC is a loving community of faith that follows Jesus Christ. Preaching and teaching is biblically based and missionally oriented. Children, students, and adults are all important to the life of this church. The members are friendly and welcoming to everyone who enters the doors of the church. Worship is inspirational and inviting. A true "come as you are" feel. You don't have to have it all together. Questions and doubts are welcome! No judgement or an expectation to be "perfect." I would recommend to anyone; from those curious about the Christian faith to those who are grounded in their faith.
