Hi! I have been a member of Alpharetta Methodist Church for about three years since I’ve moved to Alpharetta area. The church is very welcoming. The pastors are very caring about the church and the community and the nations for which the church provides support. The traditional service, which I attend mostly, and the chorus is very good, which I love music. But I have attended the contemporary service a few times and love the lively music there also. If you are looking for a church in the Alpharetta area, I would recommend Alpharetta Methodist to give them a try.
We started coming to Alpharetta Methodist about five years ago, and it's been one of the best decisions we've made as a family. The community of people here have made it easy to engage and grow. The Bible is central to everything from Worship Services to Sunday School, and Outreach. It has become a place that I can't wait to go to several times per week. We moved to the area several years ago and began to visit different Methodist churches. The moment we entered AMC, we knew we were home! The warmth and friendliness of the people we met was so genuine. This included the pastors who were walking around the sanctuary before the service began. We joined a Sunday School class a few months later and the friendships we have made will be lifelong. Alpharetta Methodist Church is the best church experience we have ever had! We have wonderful pastors and staff, a kids program that allows them to start at birth and grow in their beliefs throughout life, a music program that is superb, and adult classes/ offerings to make us eager to learn. There is a true sense of community and it is easy to get involved at whatever level you desire. It epitomizes the song “Surely the Presence of the Lord is in this Place” and you feel it when you come in and it stays with you throughout your week! We welcome visitors so you can witness all of this for yourself.
