Messiah Christian School

Messiah Lutheran Church has always been a part of my life! This was the church I attended when I was younger and all the way up into my adult years. Messiah has and will always be such a special place for myself and for my family. When it came time for my Son to enter into Preschool, years ago. We immediately knew we wanted him to go to Messiah. He did Pre-K and Kindergarten there. I don't want to sound bias since the church was such a huge part of my life growing up but everyday I took my Son to Messiah Christian School. I was so grateful and blessed. His teachers, the staff, everyone was so amazing. So patient!! If there was ever an issue they would go above and beyond to find a solution. They would never, ever, ever just give up on a child and remove him from the school. They would find ever resource possible and try everything possible before anything like that would ever, EVER happen. My Son's kindergarten year is when COVID came and although it was near impossible, Messiah did everything in their power to make sure the students still had the best possible kindergarten experience they could due to the circumstances of COVID. They still made sure my son and his fellow students were seen, loved and educated. They even made his kindergarten graduation so special, even due to all the protocols they had to follow because of COVID. We had a wonderful experience. Years later when my daughter was ready to start school. Their was no question in our minds of anywhere else but Messiah! For Pre-K she had Ms. Beaumont, she was such a wonderful teacher. She brought knowledge, joy light and laughter into the classroom everyday! Everyday my daughter didn't want to leave at the end of the day, she enjoyed it so much. Kindergarten, she had Miss Jordan. Miss Jordan i was blown away with everything she taught my daughter within one school year! Miss Jordan's knowledge, her hands-on activites, her love for her students showed everyday! My daughter had such a wonderful kindergarten experience but also all the things she learned gave her so much confidence and an advantage to start 1st grade this year and she is thriving! I truly believe Messiah is to thank for that. She is one of the students that ranks highest in her class, especially in reading. Miss Jordan worked so hard on reading readiness with her class. She has known so many of the things taught in her 1st grade year because she learned it with Miss Jordan, the year prior. My daughter's Pre-K year I became a volunteer, I loved it so much Messiah offered me a teaching assisting job. From there, I was shortly offered a teaching position. Which I still do to this day and love very much. I can very confidently say Messiah would NEVER just give up on a student. They would exhaust every resource they have before that would ever happen. Parents and Teachers have to be a team in their child's educational journey! I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding dedication of the staff at this school. Also, the staff I am now apart of. The teachers and support team consistently go above and beyond to care for each student and thoughtfully address their individual needs. They demonstrate patience, compassion, and a true commitment to helping every child succeed. In my experience, the staff are deeply invested in their students’ well-being and work diligently to find effective solutions, even in challenging situations. They do not give up on children who may struggle with behavior or learning differences; instead, they actively seek ways to support growth and positive outcomes. While I understand that every family’s experience can differ, I have personally witnessed a level of care and professionalism that deserves recognition. I am grateful for the incredible effort this school puts into supporting its students and would confidently recommend it to any parent seeking a nurturing and dedicated educational environment. I am also so grateful to be apart of that team now! 🙂

They discharged my 4 year old because he was “disruptive and uncontrollable” and they “do not have the staff to chase him around all day” after him being there for only TWO WEEKS, this school does not exercise patience with children who may be more “unruly “ than others. I do not at all appreciate how they handled the situation with my son and will not be referring this school to anyone else.

My daughter adjusted well here. She went from in home daycare to pre-k seamlessly and continues to thrive. She loves the teachers and kids. You can tell the staff has God in their heart and that was/is important to me nowadays. May God continue to bless this school 🙏🏽
