This was a great start for my daughter (because she started behind) and now she is in the 4th grade and reads at the level of her 6th grade cousin. I used what MerryWood taught my daughter in Pre_K with my son and now my son is advanced for his age. I wasn't permitted to enroll my son in kindergarten because of his age, although he reads at a 1st grade level. That is why I had to deduct a star.
