What Parents Say
Megan's Place is highly specialized in caring for children with special needs, autism, and complex medical conditions. Most parents praise the staff's compassion, expertise, and dedication, along with engaging activities and reasonable pricing. However, a small number of parents reported communication issues, billing disputes, and concerns about employee conduct.
Words cannot describe my experiences at Megan's Place! I absolutely love Kristin and Bryan. They are amazing, kind, hard working people who genuinely love kids with special needs. I have always felt my kids are in good, safe hands! Their prices are more than reasonable and they take the kids everywhere from museums, water parks, rec center, library, and local park. They also have a planned theme for each week which keeps kids busy when they're inside. Before Megan's Place opened, I had no where to send my 11 year old son with multiple significant needs. No one would take him, and they do!!! Thank you to everyone at Megan's Place!!!!!
Bryan and Kristin took really great care of my daughter who had dementia because of a rare brain disease. To be honest, it takes a special type of person to have the patience and sense of humor necessary to care for a child with a brain disease. At Meghan's Place we hit the jackpot because both Bryan and Kristin were awesome with my girl. I highly recommend Meghan's Place!
just left me hanging, we had been communicating about joining services and all I needed was an invoice to send to Jefferson county for funding and they just stopped replying after telling them the deadline for funding was 05/31. What a way to treat people! No communication, nothing. Just say no to someone next time?
We have had our child there for years. She has always been treated great and well cared for. She is now in teen/adult program and Rob is amazing. He is knowledgeable and caring and completely trust worthy. Well done
worst experience ever ! I recieve CCAP for my son . CCAP had paid Kristin and she is now taking me to court saying I owe her money . She was trying to get CCAP to cover days as well as the CES waiver . My CCAP worker had done the amount i owe wrong due to her leave , so when she got back we spoke about it . I let Kristen And Brian know that the amount was wrong and she was gonna fix it . I m not paying it . thyey said ok .
