Mama N' Cubs Playschool

This daycare is completely unreliable and honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with childcare. They seem okay at first , They call you constantly after drop-off in the morning for every little excuse just to send your child home. They close randomly without warning,( there’s no heater is their favorite excuse)and the worst part? They still charge full tuition no matter what. It’s obvious they care more about getting paid than actually caring for the kids. If you’re even five minutes late for Drop off , they’ll send you right back home with your child like you didn’t just drive there. They have endless staff problems, inconsistent rules, and their late-arrival policy is ridiculous , first they asked for a doctor’s note, then suddenly said my son wasn’t allowed in after 11 AM. How is any working parent supposed to schedule appointments like that? My son even started acting strange toward the end, which raised serious concerns for me. They also failed basic hygiene — there were times he wasn’t cleaned properly and was left in a dirty diaper. Completely unacceptable. They also constantly claimed he had a fever, but every time I picked him up, he was perfectly fine. They even called me for a “high temperature” of 97°F. It felt like they just didn’t want to deal with him but still wanted to collect the money.( mind you , if the claim he had high temp , he has to be home for 24 hours) Their unreliability cost me my job. I literally got fired. If you don’t have backup childcare, family support, or the ability to work from home, do NOT put your child here. I regret ever trusting them with my son. I have all the receipts. Several days claiming he was sick . And no there was no proof provided or even him feeling sick when I was with him .

After 1.5yrs (since 5 months old), we were forced to switch from our daycare provider...in the middle of a pandemic. I was nervous to say the least; but Maria and Jodi put me at ease. The center is more like a family then just staff. They CARE about the children, and it shows. My daughter comes home clean (she always came home with food on her face & clothes from the last daycare!) and happy each day. Throughout the day I get notifications and pictures of how the day is going. If there is an issue during the day, it gets communicated. My daughter runs in the door every morning excited about the day. She LOVES her teachers and playing with her friends. She has grown so incredibly much there - both in the daycare section, and now in the preschool. The activities are varied for learning and growth - gross motor and fine motor activities, nature walks, water play, circle time, playground exercise, yoga and FIELD TRIPS! I am so happy that I found such a wonderful place that is not only in a great location and affordable, but that takes such amazing care of my daughter everyday while I am at work.

I left a different daycare in search for a new daycare that was going to be transparent with my child's needs and work together to create a better learning environment for my child. I have nothing but great things to say about Jodi and her staff at this daycare. They took my daughter in with open arms and she was able to start quickly after reaching out. Jodi has always been accommodating and provides a quick response when ever needed. I get updates on the app and my daughter was happy. When it came to sending my younger son there they welcomed him there with open arms. I have been with this daycare for 3 years now and would not go back to another place.

This daycare is amazing! The staff is so kind and family oriented. They truly care about the kids. My daughter loves going every day and always comes home happy

Our little one has been at Mama N’ Cubs Playschool for a few years now. The staff is kind and my child is well cared for. I appreciate the extra care the daycare takes to celebrate holidays and make the seasons special for the children. My child is happy and thriving.
