My Dad stayed at Glenridge for about 6 weeks before he passed, and we went often, and got to know some residents and staff in the COVE neighborhood. There is no way around it, this kind of work is HARD, but we always felt the staff and nurses did their very best. I felt like their staffing numbers were really good- and they treated my dad kindly. Very grateful for all they did.. only negative was the wall colors, decor etc. Could definitely use some improvement for the residents and families. Otherwise we felt lucky that Dad was assigned here for his placement.
It's sad because there are caring, nurturing staff at Glenridge, just not enough of them. The administration is useless. My mom's 2 years there have been a pill-pushing, neglectful nightmare. If you genuinely care about your loved one, don't use this facility. It doesn't deserve the one star Google makes you use to leave a review.
I think my father was unalived in there .got a call one in the morning and told my dad had passed went out there to see what happened and found my dad's head had a huge hematoma on it black eyes face and he's suddenly dead oh and they had to clean up alot of blood in there so he'd be presentable he was either beaten up or fell and got killed they also let patients wonder in and out of dad's room and there was one that come in dad's room all the time and pissed on Dad's floor all the damn time and in dad's sink and the guy just wondered around in a diaper. Never a shirt or pants just diaper and always bothered dad. Well someone knows the truth that worked there that night I need you to tell me what happened to dad so I can have somdafort of closure please tell me you guys know you would want to know if it was your dad.no one would co operate. No one would talk someone come forward that has a concience and please tell me the truth about my father it's been years and I still don't have the truth or an answer please have a heart and tell me what really happened you don't have to tell your name
My dad was given the best care , lots of humility and sincerity beyond belief. Nursing staff was exceptional in all areas , my family was very grateful as my dad is now in heaven .
I have family there an it's been pretty information with us..my family is coming around to liking this place too..
