Magical Beginnings Essex Academy

Magical Beginnings (Essex) has been a blessing for me and my foster child. I enrolled her 3 days a week and the entire experience has been positive and comforting from the start. I’m a kinship foster mom (this is my very good friend’s child) and I’ve never had to rely on daycare before so I was nervous about it. Those fears evaporated after my first visit to the school. From office staff and teachers, to cleanliness and organization, as well as ease of drop off and pick up, everything has exceeded expectations. The facility is secure, clean, and welcoming. The staff really cares about the kids, I’ve seen office staff in classrooms helping and enjoying students and babies, and they know each child by name and really love what they do. My very attached baby girl is happy, well cared for, and I even get pictures throughout the day. She is engaged with other babies, in a safe and nurturing environment and I couldn’t be happier about it. I highly recommend MB Essex.

Our 2 year old has been going to Magical Beginnings in Essex since he was 10 months old and I can't say enough about the experience we've had. The care team is incredibly compassionate, patient, and treats our child and family like their own. As a new mom, I've always felt so supported when expressing my concerns regarding developmental milestones or just general questions about raising a toddler. I never feel judged or dismissed. We've seen such positive growth for our son, from his speech improving to how comfortable he is around other kids and how confident he is in how he interacts with others. This is truly a team-oriented environment—he adores his teachers, Ms. Fran and Ms. Sanja, and we’re so grateful knowing he’s also so well cared for by all of the other wonderful teachers there. He is always greeted warmly and with open arms, even when he is having a tough day. He loves going to school to see his friends, and we feel incredibly lucky to have such a safe, caring place so close to home.

My daughter started at Magical Beginnings when she was 4 months and we’ve had nothing but a positive experience. The teachers and staff are warm, supportive and communicative. It’s been so reassuring to know Emma is loved and taken care off during the day.

I can’t say enough about the staff at Magical Beginnings! They are kind, and take the time to talk with you. Everyone is compassionate and really loves what they do! I could not have found a better fit for my daughter when I moved. I would absolutely recommend this school to anyone enrolling their child in daycare/preschool.

We found Magical Beginnings Essex after we moved our young family across the country. A new home, new people, new jobs, and two young kids experiencing all of that too. In a time of transition it was the people and the program at Magical Beginnings Essex that helped our children feel safe, loved, and comforted in a new community. In the year that our kids have been there, our almost four year old knows his letters, zips his jacket, sings songs, and brings home the most creative learning-based art projects I've ever seen. Our almost two year old is confident, helpful, and loves books - and is talking up a storm! We KNOW that it is the loving relationships with the thoughtful teachers and staff that they've built that have helped them grow. It is always the hardest thing to leave our kids every day, but we do so knowing that they are safe, loved, and are learning with individual attention and care. Our kids love going to school and their experience at MBE is setting them up for a lifetime of learning and a love of school. We're so thankful for MBE and every person there!
