What Parents Say
Magic Moments Too receives highly polarized reviews. Positive reviews praise caring staff, clean facilities, educational activities, and family-like atmosphere. Negative reviews cite recent fire damage, severe staff turnover causing lack of consistency, poor hygiene standards, discriminatory practices against children with IEPs, and lack of professionalism.
Amazing daycare! The staff is caring, patient, and truly dedicated to the children. The facility is clean, safe, and well-organized, and the kids are always engaged in fun and educational activities. Communication with parents is excellent, which gives us peace of mind every day. Our child is happy, thriving, and excited to go to daycare. We highly recommend this daycare to any family looking for a nurturing and trustworthy environment.
My child went here for just over one year, and in that time frame, the school went through a major fire that caused structural damage, multiple owner changes, and the staff turnover rate is worse than a warehouse. Because they can't keep teachers, the children never get consistency and are often overlooked. Our child was more often than not extremely dirty and had a dirty diaper when we came for pickup. The final straw came when the new owner fired the director, and seven teachers walked out. For the safety of your child, please avoid.
Wonderful place! I prefer smaller and tight knit businesses and this place is it! All the teachers are friendly and seem to have a great time with the children. My son is bi-lingual and he knows songs, numbers, colors, shapes and is reaching all his milestones due to the attention and encouragement these teachers give. He is potty trained now and he loves going to school. My life would not be the same without the caring and loving people at Magic Moments! Thank you!!! :)
I went there to try to register my 5- and 3-year-olds, but the director discriminated against them because they have an IEP. She said we don't serve kids with IEP. Meaning, they don't serve kids with disabilities. First, the children have an IEP because of speech delayed, and you weren't going to teach them anything because I was looking for a before and after school care, they go to an elementary school during the day. Second, she refused to believe that the Lake County school bus would pick up and drop off the kids from the daycare, and I wouldn't need their bus service. She said, Lake County school doesn't let three years in their buses, yes, they do ma'am, when the children have an IEP, they have a special bus for them. Before you argue with someone who knows, you should do some research first. So, when she said they don't serve kids with IEP, she basically said they don't serve kids with disabilities. Then she said her teachers are not trained for kids with IEP, again, you are a childcare place, I didn't expect you guys to know anything about IEP's, that's why they are going to an elementary school during the day. I didn't expect you to treat them any different than you would have treat a child without an IEP. Very disappointed. Do better. -0 stars
My kid thrived in this place, she was there for vpk half day and the staff was amazing, they knew my child, the teacher was stellar and it was perfect that it was not overwhelming or overcrowded for my little one, it felt like a family.
