Aquarelle Kids

We chose Aquarelle over a year ago to care for our girls. We’ve had nothing but great experiences from the start. The director Ember was beyond helpful getting us through the registration process in the beginning. She has continued to support our family in all ways asked. She knows all the children in the facility by name and always goes above and beyond with all she does for the children in her care. Ms Mary the assistant director has done the same. She’s always so pleasant. We’ve worked with three teachers there. Ms. Jennifer, Ms. Kenia, and Ms. Teresa. Ms. Jennifer is so patient, calm, and kind. Our oldest has some difficulty following direction at times and she has never made us feel like she couldn’t handle her. She is always smiling and willing to offer help and support. She is fierce in her ability to love, guide, advocate, and simply being present for our girl. Ms. Teresa is amazing with children who need a little more structure and disciplined setting. She’s so loving, encouraging, and organized. We saw amazing growth when our child was in her class. She keeps communication fluid at all times. The girls were always so excited to see her each morning. Ms. Kenia is the purest soul we have ever met. She pours so much love, kindness, and attention into our youngest. She’s very quick advocate for our baby whenever it was needed. Our children are foster babies- but you would never know that based on the care they receive at Aquarelle. The security, safety, and thriving growth is their mission. It really shows!

Aquarelle is so wonderful! They always have fun activities and themes going on for the kids to enjoy. The teachers are all so sweet and helpful, my son loves everyone. The facility is always clean/being cleaned. I get the cutest picture updated throughout the day, too! Would definitely recommend this daycare ❤️

We have had a wonderful experience at Aquarelle! The environment is warm, nurturing, and truly focused on the kids’ development and happiness. Ms. Ember leads with kindness and care, and Ms. Wanda has been an incredible teacher! She is patient, creative, and so loving with our daughter. We are grateful to be part of this community and highly recommend Aquarelle to other families.

This is review is over due as my son left AK in the fall to move onto Kindergarten. I want to say I’ve always highly recommended this daycare. My son started there at 6 weeks old until 5 years old. I felt that he was always loved and taken care of by the staff. I never worried, and the couple times I was uncomfortable with how things were handled the director heard me out and helped to rectify. There was once a more serious incident that involved another child and the situation was handled with out me having to bring it up. The VPK teachers here are top notch. My son and 5 other kiddos who went here for VPK had the top scores of the Kindergarten in math and reading assessments this year at their new school. I see a lot of negative comments about this daycare so I wanted to post my experience too. In my opinion I think we all become sensitive and defensive when it comes to our children and rightfully so. But when you read the negative reviews be mindful that people are usually quick to bash something when things don’t turn out their way.

My son is always happy to see his teachers at Aquarelle. One of his teachers, Kenya, is there every morning with a big smile and bubbly personality. My son jumps right into her arms. In the afternoon, Victoria is his teacher. She is very sweet and communicates how my son did that day, if they need any supplies such as diapers and wipes, etc.
