Lucy Daniels Center For Early Childhood

Helped our son go from getting having constant issues in preschool to being ready for public school! We love this place and everyone who works here is very kind.

As a parent to a Lucy Daniels student for past two-and-a-half years, I can attest to the wonderful classroom experience, the remarkable staff, and amazing therapeutic teachers that you simply won't find anywhere else. We are blown away by the progress our son has made since joining Lucy Daniels, and so happy we were able to get him the right support during critical stages of his development.

Someone else mentioned this very same thing but after two years of twice weekly therapy and eventually enrolling my child into their onsite school, we left there with more questions than answers, ZERO diagnosis of any kind while simultaneously prescribing tons of meds and my child’s therapist was far more interested in my and my ex-husband’s lives than our child’s, who expressed having absolutely no sense of trust in her and was afraid their conversations would not remain confidential. When we inquired about another therapist, THEY acted as if they were offended by the mere suggestion but my child was not getting better. Ironically, after we made the decision to cease therapy there, our child met with a school counselor a couple of months later and she immediately noticed what she’d seen in students that had been treated for autism or spectrum disorders. Thousands of dollars wasted only to have a Wake County Public School teacher do the job certified therapists couldn’t.

We worked with a counselor at Lucy Daniels for a year and a half with no progress whatsoever. The counselor was more interested in being friends with my ex husband and I than helping our child. Lucy Daniels was a waste of both our time and money.
