New to town and OVA is one of the best decisions I made for my child. I toured at least 8-10 different daycares and did Discovery Day at 2 other locations and I cannot tell you the night and day difference I felt when I was at OVA. Admin is a well-oiled machine!! Communication is always clear and smooth and they are kind and compassionate as well. Facilities are truly top notch. There is no other daycare that has classrooms and outdoor areas like OVA. Did I mention how they spend much of their day outdoors? Children NEED to be outdoors and playing!!! Last but not least, the teachers are what made me ultimately choose OVA. Absolutely phenomenal. They are so good with the children, engaging, and even the support staff, wow. Shoutout to the AMAZING toddler teachers: Brianna, Maria, Sofia, and Roba. They care so much about the little ones and care for them like their own. I will admit that prices are on the higher side but it is worth every penny. I’m absolutely obsessed with OVA!!
Absolutely amazing campus! Like no other child care center around, they have multiple buildings and amazing landscaping with a nice courtyard that connects all the buildings. It’s like a mini college campus for your child. I recommend this place to everyone that wants their child to learn and receive the best possible learning they can. Children get to plant, play outside, and grow with outdoor learning environments, which is important (see pictures below.) Will be bringing all my children here.
We love Oak Village Academy. They have a beautiful campus unlike any other preschool around, and I love how much time the teachers spend outdoors with the students for their play-based learning curriculum. Our 3-year-old has been so happy here and felt very well loved by their amazing staff. Would recommend OVA to anyone!
I really wanted to like Oak Village Academy, but my experience with the admin, Renee, left a bad impression. She came across as impatient and dismissive—like I was wasting her time just by asking questions or needing more than 30 seconds to talk. What frustrated me most was the inconsistency. A staff member had just offered me two tour options, and when I called back minutes later to switch, Renee shut it down immediately without even checking availability. It felt unnecessarily rigid and unhelpful. I also asked about their waitlist, just to get a general sense of the enrollment ratio or how long families typically wait—basic info that other schools are usually upfront about—but she couldn’t (or wouldn’t) provide any of that. It made the whole process feel unclear and unwelcoming. Overall, the lack of communication and transparency really stood out in a negative way. I hope they take some steps to improve how they interact with prospective families.
We have nothing but positive things to say about Oak Village Academy. Our daughter is in the toddler room and the happiness and growth we have seen since she started is amazing. The attention to detail and quality of activities will amaze you. Communication between teacher and parents has been effortless. We love all the outdoor time she gets and the multiple pictures we get throughout the day.
