The teaching n care is outstanding. Very much a family atmosphere. Gods word is shared and given truthfully, for hope n clarity in this current world of confusion. So sad to see that two people caused so much hurt in this church community n false accusations never substantiated.
**Disappointing Lack of Accountability and Protection for Children** I had high hopes when I first started attending Valley Bible Church at The Crossing, but my experience has been very disappointing. There is a serious lack of accountability and authenticity in relationships among the leadership and the congregation. It often feels like issues are swept under the rug, and there's no real transparency when it comes to addressing concerns raised by members. More importantly, the safety and protection of children in ministries seem to be an afterthought. There are insufficient safeguards in place, and the way situations are handled shows a lack of care and responsibility. I expected much better from a community that claims to prioritize family values and integrity. Unfortunately, the lack of proper oversight and genuine concern for both relationships and the welfare of children leaves much to be desired. I can no longer support a church that fails to protect its most vulnerable members or foster an environment of trust and accountability. Actually it deserves 2 stars technically because writing this review has improved the experience, but still giving it one.
A disfunctional church community that binds you with guilt and obligation rather than opening the door to life lived freely from the new heart Jesus gives His children. Went here for years, still shaking these bad ideas
I came to this church because the community is whole-heartedly invested in discipleship, mentorship, and growing together with a genuine heart for Jesus. This has been one of the most beautiful communities for growth that I have ever been in! Additionally, they offer many bible classes that have been monumental in shaping my biblical view on missions, and biblical interpretation. I love knowing that VBC culture cultivated normality for caring for one another as Christ’s body.
Amazing staff and programs for people of all ages. The youth group is top notch with one if the best youth leaders I've ever come across in my time. If you're looking for a church you've found it!
