What Parents Say
Early Years Children's Center receives overwhelmingly positive feedback from parents, with most praising the caring staff, engaging curriculum, and especially Director Ms. Laura's responsiveness and communication. One negative review cited staff turnover and inconsistent curriculum implementation, though this represents a significant outlier among nine five-star ratings.
My child just graduated after nearly three wonderful years at this school. He started at age two, and we’re so grateful for how much he’s grown in confidence, social skills, and independence. The teachers are experienced and truly care, and the variety of in-school enrichment classes like dance, music, and soccer is amazing. Special thanks to Ms. Laura, the director—she knows every child and puts her heart into everything, from daily care to fun events like Mother’s Day, Halloween, and more. We’re sad to leave but so thankful for the journey. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a school that nurtures the whole child.
My son has been attending this school for 5 months. When I saw the unfairly low rating they received on Google reviews, I felt compelled to share my experience. This is my child’s first school experience, and he doesn’t speak English. Throughout this process, everyone, especially the director, Ms. Laura, has been incredibly supportive, both to us and, most importantly, to my son. Ms. Laura and the teachers respond to every email or message I send very quickly, which is such an important thing for a parent. Ms. Laura is a hardworking person who keeps track of everything happening at the school. Her communication and engagement are not only strong with us but also with all parents and children. I feel that she treats the kids with the love and care of her own, which is so reassuring. In short, I believe we’ll stay here until my son starts Kindergarten, and I’ll happily recommend this school to everyone I know.
We moved to US last August. This was the first school we toured and decided to enrol our 2 years old son in the program on the spot. Best decision ever! Ms. Laura- the director and Ms. Hannah- the teacher have went above and beyond to make our big transition to US less challenging by taking such a good care of our son and accommodating our complex schedule due to my son's medical condition.
My son has been attending early years for a little over one year. I can’t say enough good things about Early Years. The teachers are caring, knowledgeable. The director, Ms. Laura is incredible, open to suggestions and also very engaged into the overall activities. Early years cover all areas that are important to us: a lot of outdoor playtime, the kids are constantly socializing, fun cooking and science projects. Last week I came to pick my son up and they were learning about how whale baleens work. My son was in another preschool for one year and we felt like the school was lacking in some aspects. We couldn’t be happier about our choice. Also, my now 5 year old seems to enjoy school! I am planning on enrolling my daughter when she is old enough (2 years old).
While our initial impression of the program was positive, we ultimately found it fell short of expectations. The high turnover of teachers and staff led to inconsistencies in the curriculum and a lack of accountability. We observed their model that has shifted towards "babysitting" rather than a focus on personal growth and skill development, which was a key concern. Though the owner, Laura, was receptive to our feedback, meaningful follow-up was super lacking. Additionally, Laura often struggles to manage her employees, and her supervision skills are not as strong after we shared some feedback on her staff's performance. Ultimately, we decided to withdraw our children due to these concerns. Beside that, the staff was nice people.
