A must-visit for families and schools! We came all the way from Jefferson County via the JC BTA PARENT HUB for the Our Kids Count Afro-Centric summer camp field trip! The entire facility and the Black H istory playground was inspiring! We rented the pavilion and ate our food and played games featuring Black history facts learned from the tour.
Wow! I’m blown away by the event I just attended at PRCS! Not only was the staff supportive, kind, and welcoming —the activities were excellent for kids of all ages, but especially my almost 4 year old. Crafts, bounce houses, PE equipment (especially the bucket stackers) were engaging and fun. Definitely come check out these inexpensive, family-centered events!
Amazingly renovated playground with a little for everyone including many adaptive features to allow all friends to experience the fun. The theming is great and sparked some thoughtful conversations with our first grader on the way home.
My son just recently had his 10th birthday party in the gaming room at the newly renovated Douglass community center attached to Douglass high school. The experience was a 10 out of 10. The price was extremely affordable for what is offered— there is a large screen TV with a PS5 and Internet access for endless games like Fortnite, there are six computers set up with an epic game app for kids to log into, two Pac-Man machines, a Star Wars, pinball machine, and ample seating and standing room for kids and adults alike. There are two booths to eat at as well as a stocked kitchen. You have the option of adding on the slushy machine and popcorn machine that the employee sets up fully before you arrive with fresh made popcorn and orange soda slushy. You can bring your own food and cake as well as decorations. My son said it was the “best birthday ever“ And we will definitely recommend it to all of our friends looking for a gamers birthday location.
Putt and Play was wonderful. The Douglas community center gym was set up very nicely with lots of space. Including two bounce houses. Highly recommend and would absolutely go again.
