“Hi Danielle Brown, thank you for sharing your concerns. Regarding the incident from March 2025, our staff followed all required safety procedures. We attempted to contact you immediately, and when we were unable to reach you, we notified your next emergency contact to ensure you received the information as quickly as possible. Our priority was your child’s safety. It is developmentally normal for a 4‑year‑old to explore by placing small objects in their nose or mouth. This behavior is not a reflection of staff negligence or a failure of the center. Once your son informed staff he stuck an object up his nose staff responded promptly and appropriately. We also want to clarify that at no point did staff coach or influence your child’s explanation. We simply asked what happened so we could provide you with accurate information. Your review includes additional claims that were never reported to us and do not reflect our practices. We maintain required staff‑to‑child ratios at all times, including during staff lunch breaks, which are always covered to ensure proper supervision. Families are not present during the school day, so assumptions about staffing or coverage can be inaccurate. Adding unrelated or untrue concerns months after the incident can create confusion and does not accurately represent the care we provide. We remain committed to transparency, safety, and open communication. For new or prospective families who may have questions, we welcome the opportunity to discuss our policies, procedures, and safety practices directly.
In March of 2025, I was called by my mother saying that I needed to come pick up my son that something had happened. The daycare had not called me directly. They called my mother instead. When I got there, they immediately said that my son put something up his nose and that HE said that he found it in his pocket and that he bought it from home. I took my son to three separate doctors two of them bloodied his nose after failing to extract the foreign object. I finally had to take him to a children’s hospital where he had to undergo general anesthesia to have it removed. When I asked my child, what happened? He said that he found something on the floor next to his cot at daycare, put it in his pocket, and stuck it up his nose. The daycare refuses this information and doubled down, saying no he said he brought it from home. They were not apologetic. There was no taking responsibility for your actions. In my opinion, it was just gross negligence. I immediately withdrew my son and made a report with DCF and the ELC. They are unfortunately still in business, putting other children at risk. Just be wary when you enter your child into this center. They don’t have as much staff as they are legally supposed to for the amount of children as staff leaves throughout the day. Your child will also complain of being hungry every single day that you picked them up. I would give zero stars, but I have to give one star to leave a review. I am finally leaving a review of this awful daycare because I no longer have to do business with them ever again.
This is an awesome daycare! I wouldn’t trade it for anything. The love that is poured on the little ones is so amazing. Bees Learning Center teaches the kids daily and it shows. Thank you so much for finally be the school that I can trust my precious cargo with. We love Bees Learning Center to Life!
Currently have an open investigation case for this daycare. Please note I am unable to give 0 stars because if I could I would. When I kept getting incident reports about my two year old daughter being injured in one way or another such as hair being pulled out, bruises and scratches I assumed it was from her playing with the other kids, however, when I would ask how did this happen the answer would always be the same, such as "she arrived at daycare that way" or "she scratched herself in her sleep" or "I don't know" as if to insult my intelligence. Being that they don't have any cameras( unless they finally purchased some knowing they are in the process of being investigated) I could not prove where these injuries were coming from. The lady Annette that works in the front and the two year old teacher have always been unfriendly, hell even the owner doesn't have much of a welcoming personality about her, They are all unprofessional! They try to cover it up at times but any question or anything I discuss with them was always replied with sarcasm or rudeness. Never once have they told me how my child was doing in school or how her day was. They use too many diapers in one day which is crazy being that my child is always hungry screaming for food when she comes home which means they don't feed her or give her anything to drink so tell me how is she running through diapers so much. Something suspicious is going on there and I can't wait until they are exposed.I waited until My daughter was symptom free before I brought her back to daycare after paying for a whole week without her even attending, as soon as I brought her back to the daycare that same day she became congested and began coughing throughout that whole night not to mention she slept from the moment she left until 8pm that night. I had a hard time waking her up that evening. Also because I told them I would be withdrawing her from the daycare they got upset withdrew my child while she was still in their care then called me saying I had 15 min to get her then changed it to a hour for her to be picked up then threatened to call DCF for child abandonment since she was at the time withdrawn, if I didn't pick her up on time. First off why would you discharge her while my daughter was still in your care! That week was paid for. Mind you I never caused any issues with these people. I guess they just took my kindness for weakness so they felt they could take it out on my 2 yr old baby because when arrived my daughter had a fingernail indent on her inner thigh and a scratch on her face and inside the other inner thigh. This place needs to be closed down they don't deserve to be opened for business! I'm pretty sure they will have some lies to back up there evil ways but karma will not pass them by! Don't let these ppl trick you into bringing your child to this daycare! They can pretend to care about these kids in your face but behind close doors they are devils in human form! They laughed in my face when I told them about the scratches and nail indent then closed the door in my face. So before I reacted and got out of character I had to call the police! Also before all this happened the lady in the front actually had the nerve to tell me if I could give my daughter cough suppressants or medicine that would keep mucus from coming out because she said the problem is that they have to wipe her nose and if I can come on my lunch break to wipe her nose and if I couldn't do that I would have to take her home until she is symptom-free. I told her if all that mucus stays inside she can develop pneumonia. I'll just take her home and bring her back when she is symptom-free which I did. Also I don't believe they feed my daughter I've heard another parent complaining about that as well. When I pick her up she is screaming for food!
It’s an educational environment and the workers are such team players ! The saying “ it takes a village “ , that daycare represents just that !
