My wife and I are actually members there but haven't been since Pastor Rusty left. We could not get used to worshiping in darkness. I believe when Paul said believers are children of the light, he meant it spiritually and literally. See.1 Thess. 5:5. But I get why they do this though, for the young people who like that "theater effect." But the entertaiment model and what's in vogue is not what it's all about. However, the Holy Spirit can work in darkness, as well as light, and I do wish them the best.
Great place of worship for families, believers of all ages and those wanting to learn about the Christian faith. Check out online messages for preview. Those with young children should definitely check out Sunday School and youth will find very active group in their age range as well.
My son was a mid-year transfer into the four's class. The teachers were wonderful, making sure that he integrated successfully. He not only received instruction on basic items such as writing and reading and numbers, he also was able to participate in music and Spanish by two wonderful women. His teachers went out of the way to make learning fun, interactive and instructive. They learned about cool things like outer space and also had really great field trips! The office staff are always great to interact with. We have had a consistently positive experience with LMBC Pre-K. Highly recommended!
I went to this church for the first time last Sunday. I was looking for a traditional Baptist Church. I’m so glad I went! I felt very comfortable and the pastor’s sermon was very uplifting. Everybody seemed genuinely happy to welcome me. Will continue to go.
It's a great church but everyone is very young-even the pastors. I kind of felt out of place here because I'm older.
