ZERO STARS ! DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE ! This is not coming from a place of anger but awareness for the next parent. I rushed and chose this place because our last daycare closed down and waiting list are long for babies. But I made a terrible choice in sending my child here. Do your research ! Most parents don’t care , however I expect 5 star service because I’m paying for a service. These women talk down to their staff , and will to you if you allow it. What a TERRIBLE TERRIBLE “ childcare” center ! For the 9 months my child attended this place I had extreme anxiety leaving them here everyday. My baby would scream every time we pulled into the parking lot. But I just thought maybe it’s the transition that is causing the crying. NOPE . It’s this center , the FAKE smiles. The “teachers”. Some of the nastiest attitudes I’ve seen from people working at a daycare. Anytime I would voice my concerns the next day I wouldn’t be greeted. I started to bring my child to school later and later each day to try to see if that would stop the crying or fear they had when coming here. It worked for a while and then it was crying yet again. Red flag number 1 you’re not allowed in the building as a parent I can’t go to my child’s class and see what’s going on. Red flag number 2 nobody speaks or understands english. Red flag number 3 HIGH TURN OVER RATE OF STAFF none of the teachers who provided direct care for my particular child is CDA certified. Almost every single day at pickup the diaper is soaking wet as if it hadn’t been changed for hours. They send home a bs piece of paper saying the diapers are changed but the times are always the same every single day. I know my child they’re not going to the bathroom every single day at the same exact times. We send in a bib to placed on at lunch or snack time never used the clothes always return home dirty and soiled of stains. Multiple times I’m told “ Do you know how many kids we have here “ We don’t have time to do that. My child’s clothing brand new goes missing without a trace. However the final straw for me was I got a call on Monday 07/14/2025 from the director asking if my child was returning to school in September I said yes although he was not going there. Friday 07/18/2025 I get a call from the same director stating my child is hitting and has caused 3 staff members to quit and caused other children to leave the center. I immediately asked how come we never got any phone calls , any emails anything about these so called incidents. She laughed and said oh they didn’t want to complain because you know it’s a baby. I told her as a director if you are making serious claims like that families should be notified right away. Hitting is a learned behavior. A 20 pound baby barely walking can not inflict that sort of pain on a 160 pound teacher. Yet when my child was being bitten , I was notified last minute every time. They allow students to come there sick my child was out for 16 days because of the nasty hand foot and mouth outbreak. They tell you your child is sick when they are not. As expensive as they are and they provide NOTHING no fun for the babies at all who are in a basement. Not the right climate for my child at all. I would never send or recommend anyone to come here do your research !
I am writing this on the day my wife is due to give birth to our second son. Our first son was at LGCC from 8 mos until 6 weeks ago (he is 3). Everything was fine until he moved into the 3-year-old class, at which point he got a teacher that was new and unable to handle 10 3-year olds. Sent kids home with fake fevers, punishments included no outside time for overactive kids, faked nap times, and more (ask many other parents about this). Our kid had a difficult period at the beginning of his third year, and the school told us he was misbehaving. We worked with him extensively to improve his behavior, and it worked. But after a few more weeks, he had a bad couple of days, there was some hitting and a bite. So they informed us by email that that day would be his last. Other parents, his doctors, and his babysitter were all shocked and horrified, as he is a normal, energetic 3-year-old. (We keep in touch with many of the parents at play dates with our son, and some are now considering pulling their kids out at the end of the year in part due to this disturbing event.) This was 6 weeks before my wife was due to give birth and in the middle of the school year (early April) so nowhere else has openings for months. That means months of scrambling to find daycare with family, friends, and a very expensive but spectacular nanny. We had been planning (with LGCC) to send the new baby there when he’s old enough. Obviously that will not happen. We cannot recommend this place, at least for 3 year olds. We liked that it was close to home, and we were ok with the fact that’s kind of dingy inside, but in retrospect there’s virtually no indoor exercise and very limited outside time due to the weather being not conducive about 5 months of the year. Also the admin person that came in around the time our son turned three has been suggesting to multiple mothers (including my pregnant wife) that their children see a neurologist because they are rambunctious, despite having zero experience aside from her own daughter having an actual neurological condition. I firmly requested she stop doing that. Anyway, if your kid’s not a super-calm potato, this place is not for you.
We've been here over a year and the teachers are so caring!
THE CAKE IS SOOOOOOOO AMAZING
