We are beyond grateful to Future Generations for the excellent care they have provided to our son and daughter. My daughter is on the spectrum and can be a handful but the staff here has yet to ever complain when she has one of her bad days, but instead make her feel safe and comfortable and allow her to validate her feelings. My daughter was non verbal when she 1st started in 2021 and the 1st thing the staff did was teach her sign language to they could communicate with her . The staff are absolutely amazing, they always welcome your child with a smile and such a positive energy. The classes for infants and toddlers have a reduced size, so the teachers are able to pay attention to each kid individually. We are given updates of our son and daughters progress on a regular basis, and the staff was always accommodating and willing to listen to our needs and concerns. All of the teachers know my kiddos names, even the ones who were not in his class. We are a bilingual home, so we deeply appreciated that part of the staff could speak Spanish.

One thing we believe that could be improved is the optional lunch menu, which could include more healthy foods.
We appreciate the small class sizes, focus on curriculum, interaction between age groups, involvement of parents, and flexibility in scheduling. Ms. Elizabeth (director of Colts Neck location) is very responsive to any questions. Our kids are very happy here.
I’ve been at FG for 3 years, and it’s been a trying 3 years for everyone (2019-2022). But they have seriously gone above and beyond to provide consistent care for their families, in a loving, nurturing and safe environment, even in the pandemic. Recently they implemented Weekly PCR testing for the kids which is a huge bonus, as it provides another layer of security as well as convenience.. The staff in all four classrooms my daughter has been in have all treated us like family. I never worry about my daughter, and she’s always excited to go to “school”. It’s a small center, which I personally love. Everyone knows my kid, not just the teacher in her classroom. The walls are always covered in bright colors, child artwork, and seasonal decorations, and they greet us a the door every day with big smiles. The cost is incredibly reasonable, they offer flexible hours (hourly, part-time, full-time) and they even give a week of vacation each year where you can go away for a week and hold your spot without having to pay for the week you’re not using. It’s really such a gem, I have felt so lucky that I found them 3 years ago. Sending my second daughter there in a few months!
Pros: The staff is professional, wonderful, helpful, and very attentive when it comes to your child care needs. Unfortunately, I had to remove my infant son after a week due to my work schedule, but if I could have I would have left him there. I was fortunate enough to use my deposit for the child care needs of my 8 year old for summer camp which was very helpful and he had a wonderful experience and never wanted to go home. Cons: The location is a smaller one space wise, but the needs of the children are met and the children are cared for, that's all that a mother can ask for; that their child is well taken care of in their absence. I would highly recommend touring the facility and speaking with the director Ms. Lisa to see if it meets your child care needs.
