Longview Christian School Early Learning Center

We loved ELC. My son attended Pre-K here and the teachers/director and asst. director were great. They truly cared for my son and treated him with love. I would definitely recommend this school to others looking for childcare.

I’ve thought very hard about what I wanted to say in my review with out sounding like an outraged parent. My son attended from 8mo-3yr. We had what I thought was a great relationship. Boy was I wrong! We learned a very valuable lesson as parents here. I do not want to go into great detail, but what I will say is I do NOT recommend the ELC. I spoke with both the director and the administrator about my concerns and I never heard a follow up. Lied straight to me. They also do not have cameras so if something was to happen there is zero evidence to back it up. I will spare my experience that broke us due to the fact that I do not have solid evidence. They have a very high turnover and not much structure. My son had fun while he was there but it was mostly because he could do whatever he wanted and it was familiar. It does not live up to its name of a learning center. I think the potential is there with more training.

The ELC director does not know how to properly run a day care facility. She does not communicate with her staff well, meaning the parents are also either not informed, or vaguely informed about anything pertaining to policy changes and the things that affect your child. She is also a liar and has no diplomacy. How this woman got her job, I have no idea. Attitude reflects leadership, and this is so obvious when dealing with the staff of ELC.

LOVE this school. My son attends Pre K here. The staff is great, they truly care about the children and their best interest. I am so grateful my son is able to attend a school where he learns academically while applying biblical principles and prayer on a daily basis.
